What travelers are saying
- caroline2Paris, France476 contributionsAbsolutely worth a visit, the price of the ticket includes an excellent tour guide with a lot of very interesting historical facts. The synagogue in itself is very well preserved.Written August 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- David ABrooklyn, NY23 contributionsOkay- so we went to Cavaillon specifically to visit what looked like a quirky, fun little house museum with eccentric collection of objects and art. We got there, took a little searching in the town, and it was closed, though website indicted it should have been opened. C'est la vie! We walked around Cavaillon and visited the lovely, small Roman artifact, the Roman arch. That was kind of great. Small, but clearly revered as a town attraction. There are a lot of huge and impressive Roman ruins throughout Provence so this arch was underwhelming but still a marvel. However, the town itself was really interesting. It doesn't seem to be a big tourist mecca as far as I can tell. I got an almost early 2000s Brooklyn, NY, kind of vibe from Cavaillon. Great old buildings, Real French people live here. Tourists were not so prevalent. I liked Cavaillon and think it has a lot of potential for a re-visit.Written October 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SJ D40 contributionsI did the longer route with my youngest, but he has quite some experirnce with indoor climbing.
The upper route has been created very well and has really nice parts with wires, bridges and caves. Excellent job.
You must know there are quite some bits with slight overhang. 3 meter traverses. So makes sure with young people you carry a small static sling to be able to rest (hang) if neccesary.Written August 9, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The chapel is not really worth it, but the view will make up for that. Don't go there on a rainy day, slippery stones. No drinks at the top, so bring some along.Written August 20, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- sinza2017Orange, France460 contributionsThe inside decor of this 12th century cathédrale is amazing in this community on the east bank of the Durance River. One of the side chapels (on the right near the entry) has an amazing ceiling sculpture depicting creation. (Also to be seen at St. Roch, Paris.) A very beautiful church but missing the loving touches needed to maintain it for more centuries.Written February 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Willie BUnited States1,721 contributionsArc Romaine or Arc Antique de Cavaillon Sixth arch on our Roman arch tour of France in Cavaillon. It was a bit of a drive I won't lie. Thanks to the awesome navigation by my wife and google maps we made it. It was worth the drive. Not much compared to others but it's still older than America.Written October 24, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
