- janders45Union City21 contributionsI visited hoping to learn something about the history of Catanduva and the surrounding area. The most informative exhibit was a map from 1919-20 which showed that Catanduva had already passed the village stage and grown into a small town. Given that the area was only settled in the 1880's, perhaps there is not a lot of history to be told. I expect that the existing museum is a work in progress and I give credit to the worthy intention of creating a museum, but please, give the visitor some actual information rather than just a collection of old stuff.
I suggest that the visitor try the Padre Albino museum instead. There's a lot to be learned there and the young lady who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable and helpful.
