What travelers are saying
- ikar_tom45Europe62 contributionsThe most popular building in Barcelona and famous piece of art by one of the greatest architect Antoni Gaudy. Every detail in the building is special and has its own story. Magnificent.Written May 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA17,135 contributionsBe prepared for crowds and tour buses. We were so overwhelmed that we did not go inside. But because this Modernista building is on the Passeig, you can step back and get a good perspective on the unique design and also get some good photos.Written April 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ivana KBeograd127 contributionsThis is a very nice part of the city to visit, specifically the cathedral is very unusual and leaves an impression. If you buy a ticket, you can go to the roof of the cathedral, the view is not wow, but it is not bad either.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LesleyC-2208Surrey, UK26 contributionsBeautiful park, the mosaics and buildings are beautiful and you will want to take loads of photos. After taking tons of photos in the main area, we explored the rest of the park for a gentle stroll. But the venue is located some distance from the Metro stations or buses, and it is an uphill walk to get to. Worth investing in a taxi from the Metro station. You need to book well in advance. We tried for tickets on our arrival in Barcelona and the only ones we could get were for 6pm on the day before we went home. All entries have an allocated time slot. A must visit attraction when in Barcelona.Written May 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- andream0402Melbourne, Australia2,973 contributionsThis is the most stunning theatre you will ever see. It’s hard to know where to look. It’s a piece of art. Entry is €18 or €22 with an audio guide. We were very lucky to hear somebody playing the organ while we were in there and it was amazing! The details are incredible. Have a look.Written April 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sandy QMalibu, CA373 contributionsLa Boqueria Market is a fun place to see...but if you can manage to grab a stool at Bar Pinotxo, try some of their delicious tapas – their garbanzo beans were my favorite! It was very very crowded but worth a visit. There is everything from tasty little chocolates to jamon served in a paper cone.Written April 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA17,135 contributionsThis is one of the superb Mondernista buildings, originally apartments. Very unusual undulating design. It's on everyone's bus tour and walking tour, so be prepared for big crowds. But since it is located on the wide Passeig, you can step back and get a good perspective and a good photo.Written April 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - James DwyerFlackwell Heath, UK16 contributionsWe visited with two boys aged 10 and 8. Although the Nou Camp is under constriction and therefore not open, we had a brilliant trip. The museum is excellent and really well done, and the virtual tour and Robokeeper are great fun. We spent a morning there and weren’t disappointed with any of it.Written April 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SophieCoventry, UK283 contributionsNice church. Paid €10 each for entrance and to go to the roof, though no-one checked our ticket to go up. Separate stairs for way up and down, does require some fitness, there is a stopping point about 3/4 quarters of the way up. Stunning views of Barcelona.Written April 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 4uyossiIsrael109 contributionsThe best international and local fashion brands are found on this high street and if you are into shopping, you can find any brand you can think of. Gucci, Tommy Hilfinger, Louis Vuitton, Chanel and also the Spanish and international fashion stores such as Zara, Mango and others. All of these are just the tip of the iceberg of the brands you will find on this boulevardWritten April 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LegitumExeter, UK50 contributionsWe attended one night, hoping that we could enjoy the spectacular view of the fountain and the city. Sadly, the fountain was turned off, I guess because of the winter months. We were still able to enjoy some rather spectacular views down into Barcelona, which made the trip worthwhile. Just a shame that the fountain was not on at the time. Do make sure you go to the very top of the steps/escalators.Written February 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - andream0402Melbourne, Australia2,973 contributionsPalace Guell is well worth a visit if you have the time. $12 for a standard ticket gets you in to explore this fascinating building. You can buy a skip the line ticket online but we just turned up and bought one on the day.
The building has so much intricate detail and impressive architecture.
