A force in the peace and social justice movements. Key organizer of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) during its civil rights drive in the early 1960s. Delegate to the United States National Student Association Congress at the University of Minnesota. Co-author of two articles calling out sexism within that organization and in society in general.
