Premier League club Fulham are reportedly eyeing a move for Manchester United midfielder Sofyan Amrabat in the summer transfer window.
The Morocco international is currently on loan at Old Trafford from Italian side Fiorentina till the end of the season. Since joining the Red Devils last summer, Amrabat has failed to make a case for the Manchester side to sign him on a permanent deal.
As a result, Italian publication Sportitalia claims that Erik ten Hag and Co. aren't interested in signing the midfielder on a permanent deal (via @mufcMPB). Given the situation, the Cottagers could complete a deal for Amrabat and keep him in the Premier League.
It is believed that a deal for the 27-year-old would cost about £30 million in the summer. Unfortunately for Amrabat, a move to Fulham would be a step down after a successful World Cup campaign earned him his Old Trafford move.
This season, he's started just seven of his 15 Premier League appearances and is yet to record a goal contribution for the Red Devils. Currently, the player is quite low in Ten Hag's pecking order and has failed to start a league match since December last year.
With Kobbie Mainoo's emergence, it is likely that Amrabat would've continued playing a squad role had he signed permanently for Manchester United. He may well choose to sign with Fulham, which would allow him to remain in what is widely regarded as the best league in the world.

Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo, meanwhile, has opened up about his learnings from his midfield partner Casemiro. The experienced former Real Madrid man has now played 12 matches across competitions with his 18-year-old teammate.
With Casemiro having played the game for so long, Mainoo admitted that he's learnt a fair bit of off-the-ball work from the Brazilian. While speaking to the Red Devils' media channels, he said (via the club's official website):
"I think just to scan even more because I feel like he sees things before everyone else does. And playing with him, sometimes he might give you the ball and you're not expecting it.
"So I think it's having to just be knowing what he's thinking and always scanning so, whatever he thinks is happening next, I think I can try to be as quick and be clued up as to what he's thinking to do next."
So far, Casemiro has played 76 matches across competitions for Manchester United, bagging 12 goals and nine assists. His only trophy with the Red Devils was last year's Carabao Cup success.
