Questionable Tactics

The presales department has everything to do with the way they market everything. The way the send emails and even mailers to people just creates problems for the workers and they really don’t care. if u need a job sure but don’t stay here too long

It was a good company! The managers were really fun as well as my coworkers. The only con was the way they worded the mailers.. it made a lot of callers upset.

It’s not the worst place in the world.

It’s not the worst job ever. Could be better could be worse. I actually have a supportive manager who pushes you for more which is nice. The benifits are expensive. Back to back calls all day everyday.

Chill/fun environment

No micromanaging. Relaxing and stress free environment. Potential for bonuses and lots of upward mobility. I thoroughly enjoyed being here and enjoyed working with my manager as well.

Management had favorites and even if you were 1 of the top employees in the department, you were looked over if you didn’t fit in with certain people or management

Decent Company Terrible Management

Management here will help you for so long. After training which is done by someone who would rather tell stories and jokes for 6 hours a day, you learn how to take calls. The job is taking calls from clients who watch the commercials. Your job is to convert them into a sale pretty straightforward. You will succeed if you have the gift of gab and only care about money and don't care about job satisfaction. You can make a lot of money doing this job but be warned if you're not performing it making 100k plus they will move you from team to team and try and make you quit. The turnover is high and most reps have been there less than 2-3 years. It's not a career as upper management is made up of good friends. You are judged on what have you done for me lately day in and day out and if you're ok with that type of environment and want to make money it's the job for you. The expectation is you work at least two Saturdays a month. They won't tell you but if you want to meet the high goals you have to work weekends enjoy!!

OK place to work, They tried to make it fun

Pay wasnt great, but still better than some other jobs that I know of. The hiring process was really easy, you literally can get hired on the spot. You have to work Saturdays, Payment processing can be a bit much

Good work environment

Treats you awesome, I love how inclusive and accepting this company is. They truly care about their employees, and easy to get a raise. They make it known that work gossip is unacceptable and every stays in their lane.

Unlimited overtime opportunity(mandatory overtime a lot of the time) having the opportunity to work from home is good. Business could run better communication wise throughout departments but not terrible

I feel like they talk themselves up and completely fumble. The turn over rate is high for a reason. The job is not good for mental health in so many ways.

Points

Seems like points are given highly. I understand needing people to not call off but some people have things come up and pointing them for child being sick or doctor appointments and not accepting a doctor note is just crazy to me

Micro management, preferred queue, questionable product. Very expensive insurance. Was able to make good money in the past but structure has changed.

laidback work environment

So far one of the most chill jobs i’ve worked. Great staff, great chef, and an awesome facility. so far a very cool job with lots of understanding people.

Good pay

I’ve been here for a year I was making 15 now I make 22 hour , it’s good pay benefits are great Monday through Friday everybody is great , paid time off is awesome

Amazing place to work!

I’ve been with CarShield for about 4 years now and I can honestly say the company and people who work there have seriously changed my life. I could write a whole book just on the cons of working for CarShield. The work environment is incredible, everyone is like family and it is very easy to meet people, make friends never feel judged. I think of CarShield employees (including upper level) as good, motivated people with great hearts and creative minds. Opportunity for growth and advancement within the company is an absolute if you want it. Most of the TLs and Department Heads relentlessly believe in their people and will do anything to help them succeed. Going to work is truly a joy and I know that every day at CarShield will be positive, productive, meaningful and certainly fun.

Terrible job

Toxic environment, toxic management. Literally had a bed bug outbreak in the building and tried to hide it from everyone. Pretend to care but offer no good benefits and expect you to bend over backwards for low pay.

It was okay

I didn't hate the job but it did feel as if customers were being taken advantage of from our sells team, management was lack luster to be honest, you could ask them for help but they would actually wait to help until you've made mistakes

Very great company to work for. Been here for 2 years and counting started off in customer service and now I'm a account Specialist and I love it

A typical day at work is being able to help each customer as fast and efficiently. I have learned a lot over the time I have been here and eager to learn more. Management is awesome and always there when u need themThe most enjoyable part of the job is home time
