About
The Carrousel du Louvre, located right in the heart of Paris, in the first arrondissement of the City of Lights, is, without doubt, a premier shopping destination. It is open all year long, 7 days a week (including Sundays) from 10am to 8 pm, and is home to a variety of restaurants and more than 40 premium stores including Apple Store (the first Apple Store in Paris) and Printemps du Louvre (showcasing leading luxury brands with top-of-the-range watchmaking on the mezzanine floor). The Carrousel du Louvre is a uniquely designed iconic venue, with its famous Inverted Pyramid, a fantastic architectural feat by Pei (where fans can explore the mysteries of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code or take the perfect selfie to keep as a special Paris memento), its Charles V Hall walls, its Comédie Française studio theatre and its conference and exhibition centre. Culture runs deep in its DNA making it a cultural site to be visited on its own account! The Carrousel du Louvre can be accessed from the Louvre Museum (at the end of your visit when you leave through Allée du Grand Louvre), 99 Rue de Rivoli, the Tuileries Garden (North and South stairways) and also by direct access to the Palais Royal Musée du Louvre metro station (lines 1 and 7).

It was very fun, lots of shops and places to buy souvenirs as well as places to eat. Very crowded with tourists but I'm sure that's to be expected.

A decent place to get some food after a few hours browsing the Louvre. We particularly enjoyed the Thai Street Food place.

the ladurre employee was very rude to us. we are in line and he told us to move on to some other customers (cute girl). I was very unhappy with the situation. I called him to attention and even then, in a rude way, he told us to wait for what we wanted.

Carrousel du Louvre is situated under the Louvre Pyramid. It's a shopping mall hidden on the underground of Louvre's museum. The mall is very popular and the restaurants are packed even the food court area have long queues.
It’s an amazing mall with good selection of shops. Definitely worth the visit.

I love going to the Carrousel du Louvre whenever I'm in the mood for a 'mall' experience - something that's not that common in Paris. But my favorite reason to go is when I want to buy an advance ticket to visit the Louvre and don't want to stand in line (forever!) just for the ticket. That's why I always recommend going to the Carrousel to buy your ticket, shop and/or relax for a while, check out the Roman walls, then go in and enjoy the art!

Lovely cafe with tasty food: pizza, salad and fries.
Bubbles delicious and an outdoor table looking over the park next to our Regina hotel, great for watching others enjoying walking and cycling.

We would have say having a shopping mall, under the Louvre seems mont of unlikely places to have a mall, however as they say build it and they will come, are truer words, it is actually really nice, well laid out, plenty of variety to keep the punters happy.

This carrousel right in front of Louvre has a huge ark, a big street side and underground shopping and also has a big Ferris wheel. Unfortunately, the wheel is very slow for a thrill ride. Eateries and stalls provide good service.
