Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School Reviews

I moved to Florida almost 2 years ago. I started September of Junior year. It was definitely hard to adjust considering I moved out of state from Pennsylvania. It was definitely a welcoming atmosphere in Sarasota. The weather is nice and so are the people. It was hard to make friends at first because I didn’t know anybody but that didn’t take long considering everybody’s kindness in the community. I also had to adjust to the school system and how it works here. I really enjoyed taking my honors American History course and my piano class. The Christian faith was also a big part in my development there. Everybody is rooted in Christ’s service and love so there is a really good emphasis on serving others. Some trials during the year were being home sick, especially when you have never moved before it is not easy to adjust long-term. My relationship with the teachers and students has been very positive. All in all, my experience at Mooney has been awesome!
I been blessed at Cardinal Mooney with incredible teachers, coaches and team mates. All who believed and invested in me to build good character, good education and good athlete. All this was part as a fellow teammate winning together Cardinal Mooney’s State Championship win! That was an incredible experience that i will always hold in my heart.
I transferred to cardinal mooney as a sophomore, coming from a very small private school, and switching to a larger but still private school. Though I expected to experience more of the same conditions, I was thrilled to find that unlike my previous institution, Cardinal Mooney clearly used their rescources for the benefit of students, not to accumulate private wealth. They have been dedicated to my education during the three years I have been here, and I am so grateful.
