- Stephen WClacton-on-Sea, United Kingdom4 contributionsAmazing staffVisited Fantasy island with my two children, I purchased two gold wristbands costing £20, they could go on the rides unlimited times, my daughter is autistic and was able to go way out of her comfort zone going on rides she wouldn’t normally go on which was amazing. Staff were absolutely incredible, two staff members named Faith and Alysha, were so helpful and made my children’s experience magical, as did the whole team. I couldn’t be more grateful to them all for the best day ever. Keep up the great work, amazing team spirit, music was brilliant, made everyone happy. Food and drink’s excellent. Many thanks for a wonderful day 😃Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 August 2023
- Wanderer7915363 contributionsLovely day with familyCanvey seafront is perfect for a family day put. Safe paddling pools perfect for crabbing and child swimming when the tide is out. Really excellent cafe on the beach - they provide all you need in cooked food, icecream, beach equipment all at good prices. Close by are funfairs, cafes and amusements. ** take care of parking restrictions in the carpark opposite amusements- you must pay after 6pm or face a fine!Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 17 September 2023

Lovely place to just have a simple walk without any frills or additions.
It's what one might describe as a no frills walk.

SO NIFTY I love this place its so quirky and cool the locals are lovely (especially the youth) the complaints people have are unwarranted and although some of the buildings are dated I believe this show’s character high crime rate is surely a myth i will be returning

We usually go to Leisure Island but my 7 year old who is autistic wanted to try the one next door. It cost me £20 for 2 wristbands, it would have been £14 but the couple of rides they wanted to go on had to be upgraded to a gold which i think was a bit unfair for that much more.
I thought a lot of the staff seemed bored and was just waiting to finish.
They was just sitting around and talking to each other, not really talking or paying any attention th the children.
One of the ladies was really moany at the children and I felt on edge as my son is autistic and finds it hard in certain situations.
We stayed about 1 hour and a half at most which is quite expensive for £20 and we payed a few pound extra for other equipment that was extra.
I think we will just save for Adventure Island or go to the Leisure Island next door in future.

Wasn't sure what to expect as had not heard great things but seafront was surprisingly good. It was cleaner and less crowded than Southend beach. A nice place to see and listen to the waves and reconnect with the soul. Leisure island could have been better and safety was a ittle concern. Restaurants were limited. Area has potential to be really nice but wouldn't want it to get too commercialised either as it's simplicity and beauty would be lost. Maybe just some more/better restaurants.

I didn't know Canvey had a proper seafront, there is some great artwork on the seawall and a great place to centre yourself!

Beach is not that big but there should be nothing to stop a pop up being used in the appropriate place

Are their high chairs in the food stations within the theme Park itself?
If you visit the seafront car park do you have to pay after 10pm?

Hi Kaitlin, sorry for the late reply.
We have found that in the Winter months the Car Park was free all day. Please check the signs in the car park though just to be sure.
