Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's what one might describe as a no frills walk.Written 8 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As most of the busses are privately owned there are only one or two that you can venture on to.Written 9 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jayberg61Stock, UK87 contributionsWe visited for the first time and were impressed with the panoramic views. We pushed a pram and took the family dog with us. Our dog had a wonderful time exploring the park and we didn’t have any problems pushing the pram. Will definitely visit again and take our camera.Written 2 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Linda535ragCanvey Island, UK8 contributionsIf you are looking to learn about Spiritualism and the spiritual way of life or need to find a reputable medium or healer than Bright Angel Lodge could be the right place for you. The centre also holds mind body and spirit days regularly on Canvey Island and raises a lot of money for charity. They as well as Canvey Island Spiritualist Church that hold services at 57 Point Road are everything that the Spiritualist movement are meant to be and I have no hesitation to recommend them as I know people will be in the very best loving safe hands.Written 30 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cheekycockney190757Basildon, UK8,563 contributionsTuesday 26th January 2021 RSPB West Canvey Marsh. Not many birds for a bird sanctuary but grim weather. Free car park and a few decent trails which had become waterlogged making progress difficult. Worth wearing wellies if winter walking. Some nice hides for keen bird watchers and a playgroundWritten 21 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachel B3 contributionssuch a dangerous beach with no warning signs. tide was out so tried to walk to the sea. stuck in knee high mud with oil and sharp rocks underneath. cuts all over our feet. later we managed to get in the water and were cut to pieces by underwater rocks. i cannot move my hand which was cut by rocks. awful experience.Written 26 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark GBury, UK110 contributionsCalled in to catch the football. The bar staff were really helpful and put on an additional big screen to accommodate us. As a Green King pub it has a good variety of beers and was certainly popular with the locals.Written 19 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cheekycockney190757Basildon, UK8,563 contributionsRevisited on Wednesday 20th July 2022. Nice conditions weather-wise but a course in poor condition. There is no excuse for bunkers that are filled with grass and tee boxes filled with unrepaired divots. The greens were also covered in dead unwatered grass to the point your putting over glorified mud. another hole had a bog between the tee and the green. An effort has been made in the clubhouse and to open to the driving range at the cost of general course maintenance it seems.Written 10 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
