We're all about investigative journalism here at Cosmopolitan, which is why in the lead-up to Christmas, three of our hard-working team members sacrificed their time just for you.
Tasting a chocolate from ten different boxes of truffles, these testers tried to work out which were the booziest chocolates of them all. But did they get it right?
Ranked from least boozy to most boozy according to actual alcohol content, here is how they fared - and you can see our taste reviews, too.

Lauren says: "I have discovered through this challenge that actually I don’t really like boozy chocolate? But Charbonnel Tuffles are bae and I would eat them at all times – these were like a black forest gateaux".

Lauren: "This espresso martini flavoured truffle was pretty decent, not really boozy at all and had a nice chocolate and coffee aftertaste. My only trouble with some of these chocolates is that the actual milk chocolate casing is bland AF – I am a dark chocolate girl really".
