I stayed here while attending a convention at Anaheim Convention Center. I have attended this convention in last years and this is, by far the best place that I have stayed! It was about a 5 minute walk to ACC, 10 minutes to Downtown Disney (numerous restaurants, Starbucks, nightlife) and close to countless other places to eat and hang out. The rooms were freshly remodeled and very tasteful. I had a standard size room, was not huge, but just right for me. They offer larger room options if that’s something that you need. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, flowers and potted plants everywhere, beautiful landscaping. At night, the trees are lit up and the place has an enchanted quality about it. Rooms have outside entrances and only two levels, so easily accessible. Staff was

This hotel is a gem! We stayed here midweek. Very quiet, and very clean. It's on the same side of the street as Disneyland main entrance, 7 min. walk. I'm 79, no problem for me to walk it. Breakfast OK, the usual continental stuff, but had ham and cheese croissants, one of which went into the backpack for lunch at Disneyland. BEFORE YOU GO to Disneyland, check out the gift shop in the hotel lobby, because they have much the same souvenirs as in Disneyland for PENNIES i.e., Mouse ears head bands for $6 vs $30 in Disneyland (!!!). Key chains for $2.50 vs $6. Free parking a bonus. Very accomodating staff. AAA discount.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in at Disneyland. Compared to all others I have stayed in, including the Grand Californian and Paradise Pier, as well as the ones near the esplanade like the Tropicana, it’s the Candy Cane I will stay at from now on. Great price, under ten minute walk if you don’t use the free shuttle, amazing breakfast, immaculately clean, super comfy beds. Breakfast is even delivered to the room in premium suites, and you get free bottles of water in that suite as well! My favorite by far:) The staff are also so wonderful, professional, and cheerful. Kudos all around!

The Candy Cane Inn is a great place to stay when visiting the Disney Parks. The renovations have made all the difference and the rooms are a definite improvement on the last time we stayed there in 2018. The rooms are small so for more than two people I would suggest booking a deluxe room at least. Breakfast each morning was great. A good choice of food items including fresh fruit and it was lovely sitting out by the pool. Only a 10 minute walk to Downtown Disney or you can take their free shuttle which leaves on the hour. It is also close to Walgreens and CVS where you can get lovely prepacked sandwiches and wraps if you are looking to cut back on dollars spent on food. There is free parking for guests. Last but not least, the upgraded air conditioning units are nice and

Love the Candy Cane and love the renovations. It's a nice walk to the park, the staff is great, the breakfast in the morning is included and also great. We had to pay for a premium room because we needed 2 beds, and that included the option to have breakfast delivered to your room ( SO nice when you are getting up and ready for rope drop) and extra treats in your room. Can't recommend this place enough!

Great hotel, great location, wonderful breakfast, good value for the area. Be aware that if you're on the 2nd floor you'll be carrying luggage up and down stairs. Not a problem for us. We were at Disney everyday so didn't use the pools, but they looked nice. We saw the fitness room but were too tired to use it. Also saw the laundry room but didn't need it. We only rode the shuttle once, but since there is no left turn out of the property it is a lot longer and time consuming than walking. We walked the rest of time, it's a pleasant walk, less so at night when you're tired. The staff was amazing! The rooms are newly updated with hard flooring (a total plus for me, I hate nasty hotel carpet). Our rooms were nice, there's even a lighted makeup mirror with magnification on one side.

We stayed for 6 nights for our Disney vacation. The recent renovation was beautifully done and the entire hotel is fresh, clean and very warm and welcoming. It’s a perfect complement to a Disney holiday. Our room was very nice and clean. I only wish there was more space for clothes as the 2 drawers were not quite enough for my family if 4 so we had to mostly live out of our suitcases. That’s my only negative comment for this review, but I figured that was worth mentioning. The shuttle runs on-time, every hour and is a quick 5 min ride to the park or you can easily walk 5 min to the park entrance. We timed our walk with our 3 and 5 year old kids and it took us exactly 5 mins. The shuttle was a nice option if you need to give your feet a break and the shuttle schedule was easy

To anyone who books this place be careful. I booked this hotel October 4-7 2022 This hotel never send me a confirmation number or even email me that they had canceled my stay… When i called to confirm my stay nothing was said about the construction… or even they had canceled my stay. We get there and everything was shut down due to construction/ making sure things were up to code….The people there didn’t know I was not informed. My granddaughter was crying and ask if we have to sleep outside in the dirt… All they said was we’re sorry for the inconvenience…I even asked where are we to stay at now.. no answer. My daughter was trying to find a place for us.. We had to stay with my son and his family at their hotel till we found a place. What can you really say about this

Repeat visitors dream! We love staying here, truly. This was our first stay after their major renovation during the pandemic (for 7 nights). Everything feels so updated and modern and they decorate every area for the holidays! The staff was very friendly with us even before our arrival as we called with questions about a week before our stay. We were able to easily pay for our stay in advance with minimal effort. They were able to place us next to our family member's rooms which was great. Rooms are cute and SO CLEAN- zero cause for concern although families may need to think outside the box for storage as there are not many drawers. We brought along a foldable shelving system and that worked well for us but without it, our room could have been very unorganized with not many

Responded Dec 6, 2023
Thank you so much for your incredibly detailed and positive review of Candy Cane Inn! We are truly delighted to hear that you had another wonderful stay with us, and we are especially honored to be your "repeat visitors dream"! We are thrilled to hear that you loved our recent renovations, festive holiday decorations, friendly staff, and easy booking process. It is heartwarming to know that we were able to accommodate your request to be placed next to your family members' rooms. We appreciate your feedback about the storage space in the rooms. While we understand that it might be limited for some families, we are happy to hear that your foldable shelving system worked well for you. We are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience, and your suggestion will be taken into consideration for future updates. We acknowledge your comments regarding the light blocking capabilities of the plantation shutters and the potential impact on guests who require a completely dark environment. We will explore possible solutions to address this concern in the future. We are so glad that you enjoyed our fantastic breakfast with its diverse options, particularly the croissant sandwiches and waffles. We are also pleased that you found the Candy Cane Trolley to be a convenient and enjoyable way to travel to and from Disneyland. We understand your point about the additional charge for adjoining rooms. We strive to offer a range of accommodations to suit different budgets, and unfortunately, the cost of providing adjoining rooms necessitates an additional fee because they are only available in our Deluxe and Premium Room types. However, we appreciate your suggestion and will continue to review our pricing structure to ensure we are offering the best value to our guests. We are grateful for your continued loyalty and for choosing Candy Cane Inn as your first choice for your Disneyland vacations. We are always striving to improve and your feedback is invaluable to us. We look forward to welcoming you back for another magical stay soon!

Parking is uncovered at the hotel. The only covered area you might be concerned with is an awning over the entrance to the office for checking in. You can park to the side to enter the office and check in. The property has recently undergone a refurbishment and has new landscaping and trees throughout.
