Come Tour a BRAND NEW Disney Springs Hotel With Us!

Looking for somewhere to stay on your Disney World trip that’s just outside of the Disney bubble? You’re in luck!

Disney Springs area hotels provide their own benefits, with perks like close proximity to the parks (and usually even transportation to the parks), often cheaper stays, and other benefits that are usually only reserved for Disney hotel guests. And, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista is the newest hotel to join the list!

There’s one more hotel to choose from on your next Disney World trip — thanks to the newly opened Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Lake Buena Vista! Not only is this hotel brand new, but it qualifies for Early Theme Park Entry to Disney World AND you’ll find transportation to the parks here too.

We stayed at the Drury Plaza Hotel so we could bring you a full review, and now it’s time to take a room tour!

Drury Plaza Hotel

There are plenty of great things about this hotel, including the Kitchen + Bar, where you can find breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night meals throughout your stay.

Restaurant and Bar

Here’s a look at the bar, which features plenty of alcoholic drinks and mocktails too.

There’s also a self-service station for beverages like soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, and more.

But, we’re really here to chat about the room we stayed in at the Drury Plaza Hotel, so let’s head on up! You’ll find that the hallways are pretty standard as far as hotel hallways go — no Disney magic or anything here.

On our way to our room!

Keep in mind, that this is a brand-new hotel — and it shows! There’s nothing quite like staying in a hotel room knowing that thousands upon thousands of other people haven’t stayed there yet. As you open the door to the room, you’ll find a closet area on your left and the bathroom on your right. Here’s a look at the door once you’re in the room.

Next to the closet, you’ll find a small kitchenette area with a safe…

…and a vanity area with a sink and mirror.

If you head into the bathroom, you’ll see another large vanity area with one sink and a mirror with light. There are plenty of towels…

…and all the other bathroom necessities.

The commode

The shower is decently sized, but nothing super incredible or drool-worthy. It will certainly do the trick after a long day at the parks though!

There are wall-mounted bath products including body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

And we’re not even fully into the room yet! When you move further into the space, you’ll find a desk and chair with a television above it and a bed on the opposite site.

A look at the room

Depending on your needs, there are multiple options when it comes to sleeping arrangements. We had one king bed flanked by two nightstand with lamps and drawers. Each nightstand featured several outlets and USB ports for all your charging needs.

The same goes for the desk — there are multiple drawers for you to store your belongings, plus a place to sit and charge things if you need to. This is also where you’ll find the room’s phone!

And finally, over in front of the large windows, there’s a small seating area with two chairs, a table, and a floor lamp!

And there you have it! Between the brand new hotel, amenities, Early Theme Park Entry, transportation, and more — give the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando a try on your next Disney World vacation.

  1. We stayed at Drury for 5 nights just 2 days after it opened in December. Beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff and the views from the rooms, especially the higher rooms are amazing 🙂 The beds were incredibly comfortable and the music in the pool area was just enough for you to wind down and enjoy the views across to Disney Springs. The addition of breakfast, popcorn and dinner was great, okay not a great range for the evening but ideal if you were eating a snack before having a very late main meal at the parks.
The only downside we felt was the lack of hanging space in the rooms, other than that it was a wonderful hotel and SO much better and bigger than our Son and Daughter in Laws that stayed in a Princess Room at Disneys Riverside, so glad we cancelled that for Drury 🙂
