my pc is pretty low end. cpu: intel core i5-7200U 2.50GHz (says 2.50 in settings but says 2.71 in intel graphics settings)
RAM: 12 GB
GPU: intel HD Graphics 620
really want the game but im not sure if i can run it at 30 fps

You can run it. You will need the lowest graphic settings. (obviously) Not sure if 30 fps is possible, but 15-25 probably is. Expect stutters. If your pc is a desktop, I highly recommend a dedicated graphics card. I think a gtx 1050 ti or a 1060 would be a good fit for your pc. You could also pick up a gt 1030 if you’re on a budget, though

well, im just guessing. im not certain. 30 may be possible, but i don’t want to tell you it is and have you be disappointed when it isn’t.

For this game 20 fps seems playable, not the best or the ideal experience but you get used to it, shooter games are really unplayable at said fps tho, i have a ryzen laptop with integrated gpu and a pc with ryzen snd gtx 1060 6gb
For more context I can run assetto corsa on low- medium settings with custom shaders and get 30+ FPS. Without custom shaders 40+ FPS.
Game doesn’t run well I get around 15 fps and it looks awful. The game crashes every time I crash, switch car, or reset car with a fatal gpu error.

I think you should still try, steam has a refund policy now anyways that is simple. if you feel like it doesn't run well enough just return it for stream credit

I have the exact same processor and IGPU along with 16gb ram.
Dual memory will drastically help integrated graphics.
Lowering all the settings and resolution to 800x600 can give 15-30 fps. Gridmap is the best in fps.
i ended up getting the game and it could barely run at all. waiting till i get a graphics card lmao
I have a rig that has a Ryzen 5 5600g, RTX 2060, and 32gb of ram, Ran the game with no major issues at high settings and 5 AI cars. I was doing cleaning and maintenance on it, Now It refuses to POST. Making it unusable. I'm still trying to figure out what's causing the issue. I believe it's a faulty motherboard.

To provide an update, I managed to get to up to 30 fps but it's not going to be stutter free.
Some tips may help?
Using the Lowest preset and brining every single setting down to lowest possible makes 30fps achievable.
Capping the fps is important for Intel HD graphics, uncapping it will very likely cause more stutters.
Update your graphics drivers and make sure performance mode is turned on everywhere (Windows power options, IGCC, etc) you could try undervolting using throttlestop to reduce heat.
Keep you laptop plugged in when gaming for max power.
I would highly suggest putting 16gb ram instead of 12gb. What is the laptop you use? This will help the IGPU allocate VRAM Better and could increase performance.
Lowering your resolution is a guarantee to boost fps but does come with a sacrifice of looks. 800x600 is best for performance, 1280x720 is ok but can cause stutters.
WCUSA is the most intensive map in the game. Testing it at lowest possible settings after everything loads gives 20-30fps depending on what area I'm at.
Others like gridmap and small rock island (got the name wrong I think) are good in performance and you could have room to spawn one car and use it for AI.

I have the same specs as you OP, what games do you recommend I can run at decent frames. I want something that's open world so I can just drive around and chill after a long day. I've tried TDU1, played all NFS and beamng barely could run. I have both linux and windows on my pc so I can run it on either if need be. Thanks.
honestly man i’ve upgraded to a better pc with a real gpu and it’s so worth it bro 😭😭 even if it’s expensive it’s SO worth it. assetto corsa runs okay-ish on very low settings in 720p (using custom shaders patch tho, which i HIGHLY recommend even with the worse performance), honestly i don’t know what to say. 5)343. not a lot that would run on my old laptop. roblox isn’t an awful option if there’s nothing else i guess. mostly try older titles from late 2000s.
other than that gpu you should be fine, but that gpu? wtf

I had the perfect mid end PC that could run BeamNG on high settings, and 5 AI cars without a huge performance loss. I accidentally broke it during dusting and maintenance. Back on my low end laptop for the time being.
Nvidia geforce now. If you have really fast internet you can use it to stream beamng from nvidia servers to your pc. It works great.
Before I had a good pc, I could run about 20fps on gridmap. The specs where 4gb ram, I5 5300u, and Intel HD5500. You should be able to get 30 on low.
Only on grid map tho?
I could get around 15-20 in the smaller maps like East Coast USA but I get around 5 FPS more on gridmap.
