Legendary fullback Cafu spoke very fondly of Roma’s fanbase as the Giallorossi prepare to face Milan in a packed Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night.

The Brazilian international, who played for both clubs at one point in his career, discussed the highly anticipated return leg.

“At the Olimpico there is never a shortage of entertainment,” Cafu told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “This is only made possible because Roma fans are the most unique audience in the whole world. Ask any footballer who has played there about the sensations you get when the Roma anthem is sung. It will be a very good match.”

“At San Siro De Rossi was tactically very good, especially with El Shaarawy’s move to the right. An intelligent choice, which however should not be surprising, given who Daniele was as a footballer and now as a coach.”

“And then, I add: he is a great man. Just think about what happened in Udine with Ndicka and how he handled that situation.”

“Dybala or Leao? They are two real fantastic players, two who can express themselves with the ball like few others in the world and who amaze and entertain audiences. Difficult to choose, really.”
