We were visiting Ft. Worth for the first time and heard about Paris and decided to try it. I see why the place remains a beloved local institution. The service was attentive and quick, and the atmosphere was comfortably friendly and casual. We ordered the gravy biscuits with brisket, the mugs, the corned beef, and the green bowl. The brisket was delicious, not overdone, with a slightly peppery bite. The hash had a wonderful flavor and the migas were authentic and tasty. Our vegetarian raved over the green bowl. We loved this place!

Not the Paris Coffee Shop I remember, but nevertheless pleased me. I’d say City, “40’s, atmosphere. They still sell a chicken fried steak that is very expensive. It seems to be a back burner over being an elegant place to have a cocktail at lunch. Maybe with pie. Excellent service. Excellent coffee & chili! I had the chili because it was in my budget & it was excellent! The server helped me with a Togo cup & a Togo coffee! Pleasant experience

Love the history of this 1926 cafe, they have framed photos of days log ago! Clean, & renovated but kept the "vibe" Ordered cappuccino & cold brew (had flavored syrup options) split a brisket taco, had guac, egg, peppers, onions and the flour tortilla had a thin layer of taco sauce and it was then grilled. A side of puréed black beans with a sprinkle of cojeta cheese. We split a large, soft warm cinnamon roll. The cream cheese icing was "barely" sweet We will be back!

Everything was cooked just like I wanted. Eggs over easy. Crispy bacon and crispy hash browns. My hubs got short stack pancakes which were huge! Enough for 2 or more. Plates are very warm so the food does not cool too fast. And their signature coffee is amazing This was our first time to go there. We will be back

The reset is overall positive, they changed many things so it's certainly different, some are better, some aren't. I especially like the roast beef Wednesday special but do not ever get the chicken and dumplings, Thursday special which is horrible, more like cream of chicken soup. I've given up on finding decent chicken and dumplings. The other thing to note is it is much pricier now so be prepared.

The Paris Coffee Shop has been a Ft. Worth staple for many years. I have eaten there quite a few times and never got a bad meal. Unfortunately, today that changed. My wife and I went there for lunch where she got a BLT sandwich with fries and I got a chicken tender salad with grilled chicken instead of fried. Two iced teas boosted our total bill to $44 before tip! PLUS, the chicken on my salad tasted old. The rest of it was fine, although not worth $14, but I am a chicken eating fiend and I didn't finish this. I cannot honestly remember the last time THAT happened if EVER!! I'm afraid that the new Paris Cafe is no match for the old, either in food quality or price and I probably won't be going back.

Food was good. Like new and clean setup. Needs some TCU vibe added back in, but otherwise very good.

This is a Fort Worth landmark. I’ve heard about it for years. I had a chance to check it out this week and while the service was great, the food was meh. Heavy, doughy pancake, sausage was unremarkable. Eggs were cooked to order. $3 for a small glass of OJ seemed kinda steep. Won’t be rushing back.

the new cook doesn't know how to make biscutts or gravy. This was the best breakfast in town till Smith sold it. It is all new and clean but food is terrible.

We decided to try the new Paris Coffee Shop for Saturday lunch. The space is great and the food was good. The service was terrible. The place had an abundance of wait staff members, but our server Angela was MIA.. We had to ask another server to take our order, so she went to get Angela. After taking our order, Angela appeared at the table once or twice then disappeared. The seating hostess cleared our plates and we had to get up to ask the hostess to bring our check. This was not a good first experience. The seating hostess was very nice and apologized profusely.

I expected change when they changed hands. Food is actually better, but it comes at a huge price increase. If you count yea, which had always been free, lunch went up almost $7.00. Service was ok but not what it was. It’s good for dinner maybe, but at $16.95 not my go to lunch place anymore.

I'm mostly writing this review because the waitress after telling me they didn't carry Cholula suggested I try their house hot sauce. I did, and then immediately bought a bottle to take home and I have put that stuff on everything. Easily one of the best hot sauces I've ever had - it's a great combination of flavor and heat and a lot of my heat sensitive friends and family enjoyed it. Buy their hot sauce. Other than that they make a mean breakfast at great value. It's a classic diner, and they don't do anything too fancy, but to serve two biscuits, gravy, two sausage patties, two eggs, and hashbrowns at $8 is impressive, and the rest of the menu has similar value. Small note: don't order the small OJ. It's too small, and the large is only like 50 cents more. The small is essentially a shot glass.
