Byram Hills High School Reviews
Rating 3.87 out of 5 109 reviews
Byram Hills has very strong academic programs, but it unfortunately fosters a lot of burnout and stress among students and competition between them, especially about college. The lack of diversity in our school district is also incredibly alarming. A lot of teachers compare Armonk to a "bubble" because many students lack awareness of their own privilege (economically, socially, and racially). The social scene at Byram Hills can be cutthroat, but I wouldn't say more so than most high schools. Byram Hills excels in providing rigorous coursework that fosters an above average student body in terms of academic success. The administration also does a good job of working with the students and implementing their feedback to continue to improve our school community.
Byram Hills is a wonderful high school, and very academically advanced. All of my teachers were amazing and had great connections with them. Teachers always helped you out and made classes fun and engaging. My experience at BHHS was truly amazing. Sports are great, as well as clubs, as there are so many to choose from.
Its a really prestigious school that has higher standards and really challenges you and prepares you for the real world.
