Buena Park High School Reviews
Rating 4.04 out of 5 358 reviews
After 3 long years of going to Buena Park High School would like to highlight that we are a bit behind in some things, which is why I did not give any topic 5 stars. For example, we barely started to offer dual enrollment courses at Fullerton College, we are barely going to make a song team starting next year, and some others. This of course comes as a disadvantage when applying to schools. I have been lucky enough to get some of these resources, however, it only started this year. This has stopped my opportunity to take most college classes and the possibility to have an associates in college before I graduate highschool.
The best parts of the Buena Park High experience has to be the sports, extra curricular activities, and artistic electives. The staff is wonderful, too - friendly, understanding, and smart. The worst parts of this school is the food they offer and sense of belonging within the not-so-diverse students. The school spirit and community overall are not very rich or exciting.
Overall, the school has a staff committed to its students and to students's successes. Special programs such as arts, dance, and theater have lots of support and participation from students. Sports do well, going to competitions and state playoffs. Educational programs and the college readiness program, AVID have great backing and provide great support to students.
