Brooklyn Beckham: David shares first pictures of son's wedding to Nicola Peltz, telling US actress 'welcome to the family'

The first pictures of Brooklyn Beckham's wedding to Nicola Peltz have been made public by the family, with David Beckham telling her "welcome to the family" and Brooklyn confirming he had taken his wife's name.

Next to a black and white picture of the couple in their wedding outfits, posted on his Instagram account, David wrote "Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Beckham. Welcome to the family @nicolaannepeltz. Love you Bust."

Brooklyn posted the same picture with the caption: "Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham".

David, the Manchester United and England football legend, cried as he made his speech at Saturday's lavish wedding ceremony in Florida, the Daily Mail said, during "a heartfelt tribute to his eldest son and his new daughter-in-law".

Brooklyn posted the same picture to his Instagram account and father and son also uploaded one of them, along with his brothers, Cruz and Romeo, who were his best men along with David.

He labelled it simply "the boys", while David wrote: "My beautiful boys & a very proud dad.. Congratulations Bust on a lifetime of happiness, we will always be by your side."

Brooklyn posted a picture of Ms Peltz, simply titled "my beautiful bride".

She put a picture of herself with her father on her Instagram account, with the message: "Thank you for the most beautiful weekend of my life. You're the wind beneath my wings."

Beckham, 23, son of David and Victoria Beckham, has been dating Transformers actress Peltz, 27, for two years.

She is the daughter of American billionaire businessman and investor Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz.

He wore a Dior suit, while she chose a white Valentino dress adorned with an evil eye symbol, along with the caption: 'Mr. & Mrs. Peltz Beckham'.

As a gift to her new husband, an aspiring chef, Peltz sewed a bespoke label into his outfit while he added a diamond lapel chain from Anita Ko - a gift from his new in-laws.

Venus and Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, and two of Victoria's fellow Spice Girls, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm (Mel C and Mel B), were among the guests at the Peltz family's £79m Palm Beach estate.

Ms Peltz's new sister-in-law, 10-year-old Harper Beckham, was among the flower girls as the couple exchanged vows.

The wedding, reported to have cost up to around £3 million, also had Beckham family friend and chef Gordon Ramsay and his family on the guest list.

Singer Marc Anthony "closed out the celebrations" on the DJ decks, British Vogue said.

Dozens of other stars were among the 300 guests, including designer Rachel Zoe, and Kim Kardashian's friend Jonathan Cheban.

Actors Rashida Jones and Kiernan Shipka, and the filmmakers Michael Bay and M Night Shyamalan - both of whom have directed Peltz in movies - were also there, as was Natalia Bryant, daughter of the late basketball legend Kobe Bryant.

His mother, pop star turned fashion designer Victoria, wore a silver dress, described by Vogue as "a metallic, couture-level slip dress with nods to Studio 54, and the effect created by moonlight when it bounces off the ocean".

The couple have reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement stipulating that they will retain their own assets and properties should they divorce.
