Out of all the big names of the past decade, Brock Lesnar was certainly the most dominant one, and he will be walking in the new decade as the WWE Champion.

Lesnar has fought and beaten several gigantic names in WWE. Besides being the longest-reigning world champion of the modern era, Lesnar also ended the unbeaten streak of The Undertaker at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Whether it be because the opponents here are retired or deceased, let's take a look at Brock Lesnar's dream matches that the fans will never see in WWE.

10 Batista

Batista and Brock Lesnar were peers in their early years, as they came to WWE in the same year. Even though the two big men wrestled in OVW, which was the developmental brand of WWE, they never crossed paths on the main roster. While Lesnar left WWE and pursued a career in UFC, Batista also switched to Hollywood, becoming a big movie star. Both men returned to the company, but WWE never planned a feud for them.

As Batista announced his retirement from the squared circle last year, The Animal and The Beast will never get the opportunity to fight.

9 Shawn Michaels

Rated as one of the greatest in-ring performers to grace the WWE ring, Shawn Michaels could have been a dream opponent for The Beast Incarnate, but fans will probably never see them wrestle. HBK has a history of delivering some of the best matches in WWE, whether it's against The Undertaker, Bret Hart or Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Michaels hung up his boots at the beginning of the last decade. Although he broke the retirement and wrestled a match in 2018, it is unlikely to happen again, especially against a dangerous man like Brock Lesnar.

8 Stone Cold Steve Austin

When Stone Cold Steve Austin was in his prime in the Attitude Era, a match against Brock Lesnar would have broken all records, knowing how Lesnar was introduced as the 'next big thing' in his early days.

Nevertheless, the fans never got to see the two behemoths collide in between the ropes. Stone Cold was the guest referee at WrestleMania 20, where Brock Lesnar faced Goldberg in the main event. Hence, they shared the ring, yet they never actually wrestled in a match. The Rattle Snake had retired after suffering a career-threatening injury, and the dream feud will never happen in WWE.

7 Sting

Sting, the WCW legend, had a short career in WWE, lasting only a couple of years. Known as 'The Icon', Sting was basically The Undertaker of WCW. With his immense popularity, Sting was one of the biggest draws in his prime. Unfortunately, the fans will never be able to see a match between Brock Lesnar and Sting.

Despite being a veteran, Sting made his WWE debut in 2014. The Icon lost to Triple H and had a feud with Seth Rollins. After suffering a career-ending neck injury, Sting retired from the ring. Had he wrestled a few more years, he could have faced Brock Lesnar somewhere down the line.

6 Bret Hart

Bret Hart, a five-time WWE Champion, was one of the most dominant names in his heyday. Hart had an exceptional career both in WCW and WWE. While he won the WWE Championship five times, he also won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice, making him a seven-time world champions across two promotions.

Similar to Lesnar, Bret had a background in amateur wrestling, and he was known to be a remarkable technical wrestler. A bout between Bret Hart and Brock Lesnar would have stolen the show anywhere, considering how the former delivered some extraordinary matches in his career.

5 Lex Luger

Another colossal name from WCW and WWE, Lex Luger was a popular face of both companies. Known for his amazing physique, Luger sabotaged many Superstars when he was at his peak in the 1990s. Luger won the WCW Heavyweight Championship twice, but he never held a belt in WWE.

When it comes to physicality, Luger can be compared to Brock Lesnar, and hence, the two men would have delivered a dream match in between the ropes. Unfortunately, the 61-year old has been battling several health problems for the past few years, and it's safe to assume he will never participate in a wrestling match again.

4 Scott Steiner

Considering the stature of Scott Steiner, who was one of the well-built wrestlers of his era, he could have delivered a dream match against Brock Lesnar. The former WCW Champion was produced awe-inspiring matches with big guys, including Goldberg. The Big Poppa Pump could have easily matched Lesnar's strength and brutality.

The 57-year old earned his name both in WCW and WWE, winning the WCW Heavyweight Title once. Steiner was part of WWE when Lesnar commenced his career in WWE, but they never crossed paths. He is still an active wrestler, but WWE is not likely to sign him.

3 Andre the Giant

One of the most popular names in the early days of WWE, Andre the Giant was larger than life character, owing to his monumental size. He had mainstream popularity, which allowed him to do several movies. Being one of the most dominant names of his era, he kept a remarkable unbeaten streak and his rivalry with Hulk Hogan was one of the best feuds in WWE history.

Andre the Giant sadly died in 1993, when he was 46 years old, long before Brock Lesnar's arrival in WWE. When it comes to fantasy matches, a match between Lesnar and Andre the Giant should be in the list, and The Beast would have given a tough test to the Giant.

2 Randy Savage

Randy Savage was a well-known face in the wrestling world, and he was a huge draw as a performer. It would not be an exaggeration to compare his drawing capacity to Hulk Hogan. He won the WWE Heavyweight Championship as well as the WCW Heavyweight Championship in his career. Savage was also the winner of King of the Ring tournament and the Intercontinental Championship in WWE.

Suffering a heart attack, Savage died in 2011, at the age of 58. Knowing his size and the flamboyant persona, he could have been a dream opponent for Brock Lesnar today. A match between the biggest draw of the modern era and one of the biggest draws of all-time would have been nothing short of spectacular.

1 Chris Jericho

It's surprising that Chris Jericho and Brock Lesnar have been part of WWE for a long time, yet they never got the opportunity of facing each other in the ring. In 2014, Jericho and Lesnar had a face-off, as the latter delivered an F5 to the former. However, it was not a match between the two men. Wrestling for over two decades, the Canadian is considered a legendary name in professional wrestling.

After conquering WWE, Jericho went to NJPW, and he is currently signed to AEW, where he holds the AEW World Championship. With no sign of return in WWE, the fans are unlikely to see a dream match between Jericho and Lesnar in the squared circle.
