What travelers are saying
- AMD907Anchorage, AK261 contributionsThis is a very interesting and engaging museum even if you aren't particularly interested in historic ships or have ever heard of Brunel before coming to Bristol. It's fun to explore the interior of the ship and to learn about the history of the ship and about Brunel in the museums. Tickets are good for a year so if you miss something one day (I didn't give myself enough time the first day, not expecting so much besides the ship itself) you can come back later. The gift shop has a wide array of souvenirs that should have something for everybody.Written April 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carolyn D3 contributionsAfter having driven over the bridge many times this was our first official tour of the Bridge and the Vaults below
We really enjoyed hearing about the whole history of the bridge and it helped that our guide was so knowledgable on every aspect from the early days of planning to present day maintenance and management
We were shown the best view points for photos and were told loads of anecdotes…..really fascinating!
I personally think the tour of the amazing vaults deep beneath the bridge itself was the icing on the cake
They are so unique and to think they had been there for almost 200 years without being discovered,,,,, An experience not to be missed!Written April 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The magician captivated the audience with a mesmerizing display of illusions, leaving everyone in awe and wonder. From mind-bending card tricks to grand disappearing acts, each performance was flawlessly executed, showcasing the magician's incredible skill and showmanshipWritten April 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael M2 contributionsThe whole team at Bristol Ferry boats were fantastic and Lifesavers!! Another boat company let me down a week before the trip I'd booked. For 25 friends for a big birthday. Bristol Ferry Boats stepped into the breach sorted it, and put on a great trip for us.

- Phil C7 contributionsWe did the 13.30 Saturday Group Tour which was led by Alex. She was an excellent & very knowledgeable guide. We had a very informative & interesting 90 mins walk around various parts of the Cemetery. We had never been before but will return for a casual stroll. We took our dog along & finished the afternoon with cake & tea in their cafe.Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jemx3Bristol, UK58 contributionsI have visited this church so many times before but Today myself ,my parents and a 22 year old decided to join a guided tour . Our tour guide (Terry) was full of knowledge . We all learned something new and were shown things that we have never notice before .
The tours are only £5 at the moment and ours lasted well over an hour so definitely worth the money.plus if your into poetry and fancy climbing up to the chatterton room you can learn all about Thomas chattertonWritten February 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, my 4 year old son and I noticed there was an activity on outside the museum. For completely free of charge my son spent 90 minutes building objects out of straws and connectors. The staff were all so engaging, kind and enthusiastic. Based on this lovely experience which I would like to say a big thank you for, we can't wait to visit when the museum re opens😃.Written May 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Quest556360710804 contributionsGreat place to visit , layout was a little weird as no directions given so you just kind of wander about and find stuff .
