What travelers are saying
- Rhubarb811Leighton Buzzard, UK0 contributionsFantastic family day out. My son was particularly impressed that we could walk around all decks above and below, even experiencing sounds and smells too! This really brings history alive and will visit again when we next holiday in the area.Written May 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - paul e6 contributionsLast stop on our Bristol tour 2.0 and this is a must see. The caves underneith are amazing and we saw the Aurora over the bridge in the evening! - Michael M2 contributionsThe whole team at Bristol Ferry boats were fantastic and Lifesavers!! Another boat company let me down a week before the trip I'd booked. For 25 friends for a big birthday. Bristol Ferry Boats stepped into the breach sorted it, and put on a great trip for us.

- LovelyTreesWilmslow56 contributionsWent for the travelling exhibition of Constable's The Hay Wain. I really enjoyed the permanent exhibitions of fossils and especially the maps. The building is gorgeous.Written May 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Quest556360710804 contributionsGreat place to visit , layout was a little weird as no directions given so you just kind of wander about and find stuff . But lots to seeWritten November 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- cazkeatingDorchester, UK6 contributionsWe the Curious is currently closed due to a fire. However, my 4 year old son and I noticed there was an activity on outside the museum. For completely free of charge my son spent 90 minutes building objects out of straws and connectors. The staff were all so engaging, kind and enthusiastic. Based on this lovely experience which I would like to say a big thank you for, we can't wait to visit when the museum re opens😃.Written May 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Phil C7 contributionsWe did the 13.30 Saturday Group Tour which was led by Alex. She was an excellent & very knowledgeable guide. We had a very informative & interesting 90 mins walk around various parts of the Cemetery. We had never been before but will return for a casual stroll. We took our dog along & finished the afternoon with cake & tea in their cafe.Written March 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve_Val_ShrewsShrewsbury, UK10 contributionsJust down for a weekend break, a stroll along the waterfront was just what the doctor ordered. There was plenty to see and a good number of eateries en route, catering for a range of tastes. We were fortunate with the weather and all in all a very pleasant time. Thank you Bristol.Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kelsie VHastings, UK43 contributionsWas ok but a lot of money just to basically walk round one large tank, you see the same tank but from different angles. The section near the end where the turtles were was the best bit. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Gift shop was very disappointingWritten April 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ihaveshoosThornbury, UK458 contributionsCabot Circus is the more "labels" end of shopping in Bristol; Stokes Croft is more vibrant, Clifton more boutique, and Broadmead down to the Galleries better value, but if you are after big brand high street stores you can't go wrong with Cabot. From Lego and the Entertainer, to Harvey Nicks and House of Fraser, as well as Apple, Goldsmiths and Lush, there's a real concentration of well known brands. There are also food places, including Krispy Kreme, TGI and Pret to keep you fueled for shopping. It doesn't have the punk spirit or aesthetic of other parts of Bristol, but it does what it sets out to do very well.Written March 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BiffyClyro82Bath, UK26 contributionsA fun afternoon out by the Clifton suspension bridge; we went to the cafe tucked behind the observatory which did very good drinks & cake with lots of open space for the children to play in. The only downside is the 1 x outside toilet which everyone seems to want to use at the same time! The staff reception were very friendly & accommodating, and we started with the caves first & fun Easter egg trail. The decent into the caves can be very steep, narrow & slippery-and difficult for people to pass-and there are hard hats available too, as I’m only 5’11 and I had to crouch down to avoid bumping my head (tall people beware). The unique view at the bottom is worth it! The ascent is somewhat easier. We then made it up through to the top of the observatory, which has a lot of interesting views (see pics). The camera obscura was really interesting as it’s only visible when the room is completely dark & the kids really enjoyed panning the view. The round trip takes just over an hr & provided a memorable & interesting family activity.Written April 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChrisyBristol, UK10 contributionsWent to see Hamilton- tried to order drinks to seat but there’s no wifi and no signal so could not. Was absolutely freezing even in May in there so had to wear our coats. Seats are so uncomfortable and such little room for each person. Amazing show but not comfortable venue at all.Written May 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
