Jesse Aarons trained all summer to become the fastest runner in school, so he's very upset when newcomer Leslie Burke outruns him and everyone else. Despite this and other differences, including that she's rich, he's poor, and she's a city girl, he's a country boy, the two become fast friends. Together, they create Terabithia, a land of monsters, trolls, ogres, and giants and rule as king and queen.

Life hack if you stop watching at the 1:09:53 mark this is a happy movie about a kid who becomes friends with the woke 5th grade girl who lives next to him and in the end goes to a museum :,)
My wife made me watch this since I'd never seen it. It seemed like a harmless and endearing movie about childhood imagination...and then it happened. Now my wife is paying for my therapy.
Thank God i didn't watched this movie as a kid. I'm a grown ass man and my face is swollen right now because of how much i cried in the third act of this movie. I will never be happy again.
