Actress Kate Hudson was born on April 19th, 1979 in Los Angeles, California. She was born with the acting blood - her mother is Oscar-winning Goldie Hawn, and her father is musician and actor Bill Hudson. She began her acting career when she was just a teenager, and now has a Golden Globe part of her resumé...

Back in 2000, Kate Hudson's role in the film Almost Famous won multiple awards and was critically acclaimed among the masses. The comedy-drama follows the life of a teenage journalist who goes on tour with a band, with Hudson in a supporting role. Her performance earned her a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, as well as an Academy Award nomination under the same category.

Have you ever had that friend who overstays their visit? Well, You, Me and Dupree is the right, relatable movie for you! Kate Hudson, Owen Wilson, and Matt Dillon star in this 2006 comedy which grossed over $130 million worldwide.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is one of Kate Hudson's most famous films! The 2003 romantic-comedy also stars Matthew McConaughey, where Hudson attempts to do what the title of the movie suggests: losing a man's romantic interest in 10 days. This wasn't the last time the attractive pair would star in a movie together...

... as Hudson and McConaughey would star again as a couple in 2008's Fool's Gold. The romantic-adventure comedy deals with Hudson ("Tess") suddenly wanting to divorce McConaughey ("Finn"), yet they go through an exciting trip to discover tropical treasures. The cheesy yet fun rom-com grossed an impressive $111 million worldwide!

Although Kate is mainly known for her rom-com movie roles, in 2017, the actress appeared in a more serious part in the film Marshall. The biographical legal drama takes place in 1940 and focuses on NAACP lawyer Thurgood Marshall, played by Chadwick Boseman. Both Boseman and Hudson provide powerful and emotional performances.

Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway star together in the 2009 comedy Bride Wars. Initially, the duo started out as best friends since they were kids, and planning their future weddings together. When their actual weddings are soon to take place, the women end up wanting to sabotage each other. The film also stars Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt!

If you're looking for a horror movie to watch these days, The Skeleton Key would be a perfect match for you. Kate Hudson stars in this 2005 movie as a hospice nurse who discovers a supernatural presence in the creeky house where she works. Watch the film to see if she makes it out alive...

With Mother's Day also right around the corner, it doesn't hurt to be reminded of the most important woman of our lives with the comedy film, Mother's Day! The film features an ensemble cast of Hudson, Julia Roberts, Shay Mitchell and Jason Sudeikis and grossed $48 million worldwide.

So what's next for the blonde bombshell? Kate Hudson has a few movies in post-production! 'Music', a musical film, was released in 2021, while 'Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon', a fantasy film also starring Craig Robinson and Zac Efron, was also released in 2021. We're looking forward to Kate's upcoming films this year!
