    Please be sure you enroll in the CORRECT COURSE for the semester of the class you need. Please read this explanation to understand how the course codes differ for session 1 and session 2 as well as for in-person and online courses-

    As many high school summer school classes have reached capacity, please complete this form if the course you want is full AND you want to be included should additional sections be made available. There is no guarantee that additional spots or sections will be available. Students will be emailed should additional capacity become available. THIS WAITLIST IS NOT A REGISTRATION FORM NOR DOES IT GUARANTEE ENROLLMENT. 

    HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER SCHOOL WAITLIST

    Summer School Details:

    • Each session is 10 school days.
    • Classes are offered online or in-person. In-person summer school will be at Coronado High School.
    • Students must register by the deadline date: 
      • Session 1 registration deadline is May 21
      • Session 2 registration deadline is June 6
    • After the registration deadline, students may seek enrollment in available courses (online or in-person courses) by coming to the Coronado High School Library at 7:45 a.m. on the first day of the session. (This applies to online and in-person courses)
    • Since many courses reach capacity, enrollment after the registration deadline is not guaranteed.
    • Due to the fast-paced nature of summer school, students are advised to not take 2 classes in the same session. If a student needs to take an additional class in the same session, she/he will need to come to Coronado High School Library at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of the session to see if there is capacity. (This applies to online and in-person courses). There are NO exceptions to this. The cost for an additional .5 credit class is $100/.5 class/session

    Cost:

    • $75/semester course for current SUSD students. (The cost for an additional .5 credit class is $100/.5 class per session)
    • $200/semester course for students enrolled in a non-SUSD school.
    • Course fees are non-refundable after the first day of the session.

    In-person summer school:

    • Classes will be held at Coronado High School, 7501 E. Virginia Ave., Scottsdale, Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
    • Breakfast will be available free of charge, before school, for students enrolled in-person classes from 7:00 a.m. -7:45 a.m.
    • Lunch will be available free of charge for students enrolled in-person classes from 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.
    • Transportation will be available to and from Coronado from Arcadia, Chaparral, Desert Mountain, and Saguaro high schools. Bus routes can be found here.
    • Students who miss more than one day of class will be dropped from the course.

    Online summer school:

    • Students will have access to the entire semester of course material on the first day of the session.
    • Students will access the course on their own time. There is no live instruction.
    • Students must take the course final exam online at the date and time that is pre-determined by the instructor.
    • Students must log in to the course by the 2nd day of the session or will be dropped from the course.
