Brenda Hosbrook was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 5th, 1936. In 1960,
she met and fell in love with comedian George Carlin and on June 3rd,
1961, they married (George proposed in January). Two years and Twelve
days after their marriage, their first and only daughter, Kelly, was
born. She remained with George for 34 years until her death from liver
cancer on May 11, 1997.
She and George met at a hotel in Dayton, Ohio where he was performing
and she was living.
Produced eight of George's HBO comedy specials including "Playin' With
Your Head". Brenda (up until her death in 1997) was a CEO of
Cablestuff productions.
