According to a report from Foot Mercato, Bayern Munich’s Bouna Sarr (32) is keen on a return to Ligue 1 at the end of the season.
Sarr has been out with an ACL injury since December and it had been feared that he would not play for Bayern Munich again. The former Olympique de Marseille defender’s contract at the Bundesliga club expires at the end of the season and an extension is not forthcoming.
However, Sarr has quickly recovered from the injury and according to Foot Mercato, has the ball at his feet once again in training. Whilst it isn’t thought that the Senegalese defender will be fit enough to feature this month, it is possible that he may feature again for Bayern Munich in May.
Foot Mercato added that Sarr is not against a return to Ligue 1 this summer and added that his name features on shortlists of clubs in the market for an experienced right-back.
