This is an Italian adaptation of "The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde", a song written by Peter Callander and Mitch Murray, and first released in English by Georgie Fame in 1967. The Italian lyrics are by Daniele Pace. Pettenati released the Italian adaptation in 1968 on his first self-titled album. It was also released that same year by Rinaldo Ebasta and Le anime.
