We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday during a very busy holiday in Parish. Menu was limited but our burgers and fries were very good. Our waiter was excellent without being annoying. We had a leisurely lunch in a relative quite atmosphere.

My wife and I stayed just around the corner, so we ended up stopping here each night as we made our way back towards our hotel. The staff were helpful, the scene was alive with energy and the food and drinks hit the spot! If...you've never tried the Croque Madame in Paris, stop what you're doing and make this happen. Yum!More
My husband and I were so hungry so we stopped at Cafe Buca for lunch. It was one of the best lunch places we went and it was not so expensive. I had their Croque Monsieur (ham and cheese between bread with melted cheese on...top. Of course, it came with great fries. My husband had a Caesar salad, also good. The server was fun and we were lucky enough to get a table outside so we could people watch. One of the best things to do in Paris.More
The food and service was exellent. Our favourite place in París. We even broke the 1 time per place rule!! So we think you ought to stop by and eat there. P.s. the french fries are amazing according to my teenager
The biggest disappointment of our stay in Paris. They fool tourists dining in the evening by showing them intentionally the lunch set menu with discount, encouraging them to order it, then charge full price of each dish at the end, saying that the offer only...applies at lunch time (There's no indication of hours on the paper.) The waiters are trained to take advantage of foreign tourists and that is absolutely disgusting!More
Cafe Buci was a serendipitous find after a long walk from Montmartre to St Germain on what must have been the first day of Spring. I was hot and tired. Reception was friendly and efficient. The wait staff were en point being attentive without being...overbearing and too familiar. The food was excellent. The place soon filled up with locals. I left feeling refreshed and invigorated. I did get the feeling I might have been charged non-local price. Bill for one with house 2 course meal and a carafe of wine came to €68More
Good place for casual lunch. After walking for miles around various neighborhoods, we saw a fairly full sidewalk of tables at Cafe Buci so we figured it would be decent. Glad we stopped in - we had two tasty salads. One was greens with goat...cheese toasts and the other was an assortment of vegan ingredients (quinoa, beets, cucumbers, cabbage, etc). Neither was exceptional both they were both perfectly good.More
My wife and I tend to eat late. The other night we were looking for dinner around 11:00 pm so we went to Cafe Buci. It’s just down street from the apartment we’re staying in. We had steaks and a bottle of Pinot Noir. The...service was great, the food was really good and the price very reasonable. Café Buci is one of the reasons I love Paris.More
This is a great place to go, sometimes a place needs a bit of credit, when weve made life a little more inconvenient for them. We came in for drinks, cleared our table for that purpose, then we decided to stay for lunch, that would...be annoying for me if I were a waiter but no problem here at all, personable service and fantastic food at a reasonable price. Been here twice now, not disappointed at all. Merci.More
Stopped by on a cold morning for an espresso and cappuccino to warm me up. Ambience is what you'll find at any Parisian cafe and service was fast. The food at nearby tables looked good and will try another time. Overall a good experience!!
Ate here twice on a recent visit. The charcuterie board and a couple drinks are an amazing lunch. Also attended for dinner with a French onion soup and a chicken Caesar salad. The service was friendly, attentive and engaging. Very pleasant experience .
Don’t ever go to this place We went for a drink with a group of friends and the waiter agresses us and through a glass of water in one of my friends. Think twice before going there!!!!!
From now on, THIS is my cafe! I'm a Manhattanite and we eat late. I discovered the Rue de Buci in my wanderings around the St. Germain des Près around midnight. God, this little street was just like the Via Veneto of 1960's Rome! The...street was COOKIN' BIG TIME! Walking down a bit, I found this cafe. It looked comfortable for me--not too pishy-poshy; the menu looked fine. And yes, they were open and had bacon cheeseburgers, which I was craving at this hour. I took a spot--which from now on, will be MY SPOT, right inside but by the open doors to where all the outside tables were--this way I could watch the action at the outside and on the street. Nobody was bothered that I occupied a table by myself. My waiter was SWELL. I was totally comfortable and having a lovely time. I hope I'm not ruining the Rue de Buci, but you really gotta check it out! Yes, I got my Midnight bacon cheeseburger with frites and a delicious draft of beer. I usually eat quickly; here, I just lingered over every bite. I even had a dessert. I probably hung out until 1:30-2:00 a.m.. What a pity that I only had one night left this visit, and for that I had a commitment. I'll be back in Paris in April or May, and you will find me late nights at the Cafe Le Buci! (Please don't tell too many people.)More
Tourist Trap bad food bad service Like most places in Saint Germain Avoid visiting without checking out reviews first!!!!
