Endrick pays tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton
Brazil sensation Endrick paid tribute to Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton after his first-ever senior international goal gave the Selecao victory over England at Wembley on Saturday.
The Palmeiras forward – who will join Real Madrid in July – netted the only goal, 10 minutes from time, in the 1-0 friendly victory over the Three Lions.
The 17-year-old’s strike made him the youngest-ever male goalscorer at Wembley and, after the match, he explained his pride emulating the late, great Sir Bobby by playing at England’s national stadium.

Speaking to Eduardo Deconto, Endrick dedicated his first senior Brazil goal to United legend Sir Bobby Charlton…
“A guy who is an idol here is also Bobby Charlton,” said Endrick.
“Playing in the stadium that Bobby played, scoring on the day Ronaldo debuted. These are very important memories for me.”
England's clash with the Brazil was 30 years to the day from when legendary Selecao striker Ronaldo made his first senior international appearance.
Sir Bobby, who sadly passed away in October last year, gained 106 caps for England between 1958 and 1970, scoring 49 goals – and he was, of course, one of United’s greatest ever players.
The forward was an integral part of the Three Lions' team that won the 1966 World Cup and regularly tussled with the legendary Brazilian side of that era, going head-to-head with the likes of Pele and Jairzinho.
Sir Bobby was also a product of our celebrated Academy and 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo became the latest graduate of the United youth system to make his senior debut for England, when he was introduced after 75 minutes, alongside fellow Red Marcus Rashford.
