Bought this for my brother who was having trouble finding this particular album on CD. He is thrilled with it!

Contains 5-6 new songs, but re-cycles 5-6 from earlier releases. Still well worth having for a Lacy fan.

Here's Lacy J's 8th release from 1987, and a must have album.
(Not counting her Greatest hit's album)
This is an over-all great album that includes 4 duets.
Track listing - comments.
1. 'Have I got a heart for you' -- great song, new album cut.
2. 'It's a dirty job' (with Bobby Bare) -- a break up song.
A top 40 hit in 1983, but not released on an album until now.
3. 'Blue-eyed blues' -- a great bluesy track.
It had already been an album cut on her 4th album in 1982 titled '16th Avenue'.
4. 'That's good - that's bad' (with George Jones) -- cute song, new album cut.
5. 'Gotta' serve somebody' (with David Allen Coe) -- new album cut.
Dalton's style here is excellent! Reminds me of Janis Joplin.
6. 'I'll love 'em whatever they are' -- new album cut.
Cute song about creatures from outer space, with a flair of vaudeville.
7. 'Hillbilly girl with the blues', great classic country.
This was on Lacy's 2nd album in 1980 titled 'Hard times'.
It was a top 10 hit in 1980 from that album.
8. '16th Avenue', -- about the country music industry.
This was previously released on her 4th album in 1982
titled '16th Avenue' it was a top 10 hit in 1982.
9. 'My old yellow car' -- fond memories of an old love,
and an old yellow car. This was an album cut on Lacy's 5th album
in 1983 titled 'Dream baby'.
10. 'Love gone cold' (with Earl Scruggs), great bluegrass sound, new album cut.
Although there are five hit songs on this album,
only one of them was generated from this 'Blue Eyed Blues' album.
Even with the four repeats from earlier releases, this is a must have album.
Dalton's voice is the most powerful, and versatile here as I've ever heard.
And it's a plus to have 4 great duets here.
This is one of Dalton's very best albums.
