    So much fun!
Despite living local this is the first time we’ve visited here due to the cost and my kids ages. They are only 8 and 9 so wasn’t sure they’d be able to do much but wow they had an amazing time! Such a lovely day out, will definitely be returning.

    Ok but certain staff rude
Ok day out, booked online and entry was straightforward. The park was relatively quiet so we’re able to get on most rides quickly with minimal wait time. The new shop at entrance is lovely. Icon and the big one were running very well and staff were efficient and polite. We decided to try out Valhalla while it’s trialling it’s technical rehearsal. Got totally drenched ( as expected) however the experience was totally ruined by extremely rude member of staff who is in charge of loading and unloading boats. As you approach the off loading area loud audio plays telling you to stay seated until boat stops however a rather loud mouthed red headed and bearded man was shouting rather aggressively to paying customers to get off and if they don’t hear him he’s gets rather irritated and shouts very loudly. Wasn’t just us looking rather frustrated. Please sort your customer service out. There’s a cost of living crisis so people’s extremely hard cash is being spent on a day out, was very disappointed with that experience. It’s a shame as up until that point the day was going well

    Good day out!
Visited the park on 10/5/23. Great day all round! All rides that were advertised to be open were open, food and drink selection was brilliant (considering it was a very quiet day) and any staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The only reason for 4/5 is the fact you need to scan on to every ride. I don't see why this is necessary as everyone that is in the park has paid to be there. This also put me off riding Valhalla as i would have needed to take my phone on with me due to having to scan to get on the ride. Overall though, a very good day out!

    What goes up……..
Walk the Woodie event. As lovers of coasters and Pleasure Beach since the 80s its great to enjoy a little something different. We did the walk last year and booked again this year for the Big Dippers 100th Birthday. It’s not a cheap event but worth every penny. After meeting the team members for a safety briefing you are harnessed up and ready to go. You can bring along a spectator but bear in mind they may not be able to see you during the whole of the experience due to the layout of the park and location of the walk. This years walk was completely different, covering different parts of the track, but this event is so much more than just a walk. Andy was our host and with the other members of staff shared facts about the coaster and park as we made our way around. We stopped at points where it is a great chance to take some photos of the park with views you wouldn’t normally get, whilst learning some history of these great rides. Groups are kept very small and there is plenty of chance to ask questions. The whole experience lasts around 90 mins and is finished off with the gift to take away to remember your day. We went early evening but there is the chance of a later walk which would allow you to catch the sunsets at certain times of the year. We cant recommend it enough, if you are thinking about it, go for it. We went as a 2 and walked with 2 people attending on there own. The staff make everyone so welcome that if you unsure of going along on your own, don't worry people get chatting from the off.

I love Blackpool Pleasure Beach Park
Another fun time had at Blackpool to celebrate my son’s 30th birthday 😂 but was so sad to see The Wild Mouse ride has gone 😭. Ended up buying a chunk of wood from the ride as a memory. I’m glad my children got to go on it over the years before it was dismantled. Sad to see that not much was done to the area where it stood. The park was clean and the food was good for the type of place that it is. The refurbished Valhalla ride was still a huge hit and the new Icon ride was worth the wait. We like Blackpool because it’s a generation thing and all my children and their friends have grown up having very good memories of the park. It’s a shame they have got rid of the lower price entry fee for people who don’t or can’t go on the rides so that they can share in on the day. Also found the whole e-tickets a lot of fuss and the service didn’t work well at all. What’s the point of having a group leader and then having to still scan everyone and there was no point taking a photo of each person as no one cared and you could scan the same e-ticket to let everyone in. It would be good if a really good water rapids ride was installed and the Ghost train was redone to actually be scary and modern. I would hate to see Blackpool pleasure beach close down if the attendance continues to get lower, so some updating and new rides would be great. We still love the place though and will visit again when the illuminations come on.

    Fantastic day
Brilliant from start to finish, we came for a surprise 18th birthday treat for my daughter who is autistic, it’s been a dream of hers to visit for a long while, we all had a wonderful day including the grandchildren who loved Nickelodeon land. The park was so clean and tidy and the staff so kind and welcoming. We had lunch at coasters restaurant and the food was really great, good selection and the view wonderful. Thank you we enjoyed every minute.

Great location and all on doorstep
We went 2 nights , Fri n Sat 19th May . South Beach Travelodge, perfect for travel and to sleep in a clean comfortable bed ,quiet enough to get some shut eye. Great location with parking onsite if you get in between 1 and 2 there’s about 20 spaces costing £8 for 24 hours .big Weatherspoons close bye for excellent breakfast and unlimited proper coffee. We had a great time as weather was warm n sunny , we had our fill after 2nd day , enough for another 5 years till next visit.

    Great theme park
I went to Pleasure Beach with my boyfriend the last Friday. We had so much fun in the park. It was old but still in a great condition and not out dated at all. We enjoyed the roller coasters, like The Big One, the horse coaster and Grand National. Above all, the best was Vahalla, such an amazing water ride

    Great day
I've lost count of how many times we've visited the park as a family we absolutely love it and this time was no different however I did have a couple of things I wanted to point out 1. Food, it's not the best quality and it's very over priced, we went to the noodle bar situated just next to the infusion coaster, we paid over £35 for 3 boxes of noodles with a choice of sauce and 3 bits of chicken and 2 drinks, which I think is unreasonable so if you're visiting the park I'd take a packed lunch. The drinks arnt much better either £2 to £3 for a normal bottle of pop, you can but the BPB refillable cups for £12 and get them refilled at most of the eataries which I think works out a cheaper option, we were quite disappointed also when we found that we had to pay extra to go on ikon on the back spinning seats after we'd already paid over £100 to get into the park, the price was £15pp or £25pp if you wanted to jump the que, I think that once you've paid to get into the park all rides should be included! The day we booked was a late night riding day and that there was supposed to be a dj playing in the park, we never seen or heard the dj so that was disappointing too but other than those points we had a fantastic day at the park and will definitely not hesitate to visit again!

Great day out but bit pricey
Great weather great time all rides were open but queue times always too long. Takes ages faffing around with tickets on scanners at every ride. Surely a wristband would be quicker

I enjoyed the park, the rides are good and we turned up at a good time, so no long queues. The Big Dipper is clearly showing its age and make for a very uncomfortable experience but its still great fun. Could perhaps do with a few more rides for the less adventurous.

The only problem I had was the online booking process which was stupidly invasive and completely unnecessary. After typing in every piece of information possible to buy the tickets, I had to give all that again for every person visiting including a photo.

However, upon phoning the beach it seems you only really need to bring the purchase code along with you. The rest is just extra data collection.

Amazing place and staff are also great. Would personally like to thank Mark and Gilbert from Nickleodeon land they were amazing with my son reassuring him and attending to any needs making him feel welcome as possible, this helped make great memories for me and my family. Thankyou so much hope they somehow get to see this

A Sunday visit this year. Mostly positive but a few negative things. Rides generally in good condition but sad to see Ice Blast and River Caves not operating so close to the main season starting. Grand National desperately in need of attention, I hope this ride is not being left to die. Food at Lokis Bar was very good. A whole rotisserie chicken and fries was really good value and easily best food on park. Sadly it’s really poorly signposted and not even one customer came in during our meal. It’s right next to Valhalla if you can’t see signs for it. Some improvements since our last visit but a few areas clearly not cleaned since last year. That said, toilets and food areas very good. I’d love to walk the whole park with management to point out some easily remedied issues. It’s still my favourite place to be.

Due to a young girl in front of us in the que for the big one being harrassed by an older man who was drunk, myself and my son helped her by making sure she was safe for the rest of the day at her request. Evidentally this man had been asked by the Big One staff to leave the park as he was causing issues but this was over ruled by management so he should not have even been there to be able to distress the 15 year old girl.
I did not go on any rides due to making sure he was not near us as we made sure she was safe.

I thought it was absolutely shocking at the price you have to pay to get in I don’t like rides so I thought that I could just pay an admission fee to get in as I had my daughter who was in a wheelchair who really wanted to go in so I had no option but to pay £50 absolute disgrace that they have done away with the admission fee not all people like to go on the rides so I think they need to take that into consideration

Another amazing day in Pleasure Beach.
My son was gutted the whole day the Enzo train was on Icon as he was finally at height for back row (the amount of rides we had on Icon, Enzo was ridden once, that we seen the whole day, could have been more granted while we were doing other things but I dont think that many). Was lovely and quiet got on plenty of rides and re rides. The new Gyro food stall was so good, really tastey.
My only complaints are, the cost of Enzo, reduce the price youll get more riders, £7.50 - £10) and my biggest issue the scanning onto rides, there is no need for this as everyone has to pay to get into the park, like Alton Towers etc get rid of the ride scanning Pleasure Beach.

Came to pleasure Beach and all the staff directing us to security and ticket bit where friendly and smiley which is what you want

Took my partner for the first time to pleasure Beach and he enjoyed himself but that's more because he is a thrill seeker!

I had to pay to just go on 2 rides because I don't do rollercoasters so I wish they could come up with an option for tokens or even a ticket for each ride for those who don't go on certain rides they don't need to pay as much for an e ticket

The food was lovley we had the Chinese from the wok and was cooked fresh and delicious and had doughnuts from the stall and they were fresh and delicious

Way to expensive and disabled do NOT get any form of discount whatsoever unless you have an access card which again you have to pay for which is also a joke when you have a terminal illness there is no time for messing around when each day is another day and having to basically prove you are disabled by having an access card is just plain ludicrous would i go back DEFINETLY NOT whoever owns this place needs something which i can not say in this review
