    A Pleasure filled day
Me and my family visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach on 26th of April 2023. 1st off the park was amazing. It was lovely and clean. All staff had a great smile. There was a guy on the krysty crab order up who was very happy and chatty. Some of the rides are old and wooden which personally I think adds to the charm. My 9 and 7 year old had an absolute blast. The 4 and 2 year old had such a great time on all the kiddies rides. A great day out for all the family. There are however a few down sides. The 1st thing that isn't mentioned on the website is that your not allowed to take your own food in to the park. The security seemed very embarrassed to have to tell us to which we told him not to worry its not your fault. The only other downside is that every time you go on a ride they need to scan your phone which is fine but as a family of 6 it can be a slight issue. Only because the older ones like to go on some rides without mum and dad so it was something I feel could be avoided somehow. I do however appreciate that everywhere has There own ways. Like I say it was still however an amazing day for all

    Amazing
Myself, my husband, father in law, our best man and our 2 boys aged 3&5 went to pleasurebeach this week. We had a brilliant time. The staff were fantastic, so good with the kids especially the ones in charge of rides in Nickelodeon world. The food was great, hardly any queues to get on anything and all round staff so polite and accommodating, we had a stroller with us for my youngest to make the walking about the park easier and when we were all on some rides, the staff ensured our stroller was looked after and we’re very kind to us all. Wasn’t sure if it was a good idea taking the kids so young but they had a blast and even though they were restricted to the rides they could get on, they definitely got their monies worth for the rides available to them and are so looking forward to going again! This will definitely be a regular family trip

    Worth every penny
We weren't sure about going as the tickets seemed pricey, but what a great decision! The iffy weather didn't matter, there was plenty for our youngest (7) as well as the adults. Superbly friendly staff across the board, just really enjoyable.

    Family birthday trip
10 of us visited for our daughters birthday Sunday 30th April. We had a great day. Queues were short. We did all the big rides 2-3 times. Plus got 2 rides on Valhalla!! Waiting 4 years did not disappoint. We got absolutely soaked. Loved every second of it. Only downside is the new photo pass thing!! I get showing the pass it to get in, but having to show them for every ride (when everyone’s paid same price to get in now) it’s a right pain!! Especially on Valhalla when you need to hide your phones from the water. Wrist bands were much easier!! And saved time.

    Great park
Been loads of times here over the years. Such a great park always a top day out. Plenty of rides and queue times are never too bad. Quite a few rides also go on for a bit which is good and not over in seconds. One of my favourite parks, well looked after!

Exsperience of Blackpool pleasure Beach in a nut shell
The staff were brilliant on all rides especially the young woman working on ice blast was full of energy and brilliant with the people. Park was quiet got on a lot of rides a lot of times. Did go on valhalla it did break down half way round was good up to them but it is technical rehearsals so that's normal and expected but what I did see looked good and u still get extremely wet lol. All in all was a brilliant day we'll enjoyed.

    So much fun!
Despite living local this is the first time we’ve visited here due to the cost and my kids ages. They are only 8 and 9 so wasn’t sure they’d be able to do much but wow they had an amazing time! Such a lovely day out, will definitely be returning.

    Ok but certain staff rude
Ok day out, booked online and entry was straightforward. The park was relatively quiet so we’re able to get on most rides quickly with minimal wait time. The new shop at entrance is lovely. Icon and the big one were running very well and staff were efficient and polite. We decided to try out Valhalla while it’s trialling it’s technical rehearsal. Got totally drenched ( as expected) however the experience was totally ruined by extremely rude member of staff who is in charge of loading and unloading boats. As you approach the off loading area loud audio plays telling you to stay seated until boat stops however a rather loud mouthed red headed and bearded man was shouting rather aggressively to paying customers to get off and if they don’t hear him he’s gets rather irritated and shouts very loudly. Wasn’t just us looking rather frustrated. Please sort your customer service out. There’s a cost of living crisis so people’s extremely hard cash is being spent on a day out, was very disappointed with that experience. It’s a shame as up until that point the day was going well

    Good day out!
Visited the park on 10/5/23. Great day all round! All rides that were advertised to be open were open, food and drink selection was brilliant (considering it was a very quiet day) and any staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The only reason for 4/5 is the fact you need to scan on to every ride. I don't see why this is necessary as everyone that is in the park has paid to be there. This also put me off riding Valhalla as i would have needed to take my phone on with me due to having to scan to get on the ride. Overall though, a very good day out!

    What goes up……..
Walk the Woodie event. As lovers of coasters and Pleasure Beach since the 80s its great to enjoy a little something different. We did the walk last year and booked again this year for the Big Dippers 100th Birthday. It’s not a cheap event but worth every penny. After meeting the team members for a safety briefing you are harnessed up and ready to go. You can bring along a spectator but bear in mind they may not be able to see you during the whole of the experience due to the layout of the park and location of the walk. This years walk was completely different, covering different parts of the track, but this event is so much more than just a walk. Andy was our host and with the other members of staff shared facts about the coaster and park as we made our way around. We stopped at points where it is a great chance to take some photos of the park with views you wouldn’t normally get, whilst learning some history of these great rides. Groups are kept very small and there is plenty of chance to ask questions. The whole experience lasts around 90 mins and is finished off with the gift to take away to remember your day. We went early evening but there is the chance of a later walk which would allow you to catch the sunsets at certain times of the year. We cant recommend it enough, if you are thinking about it, go for it. We went as a 2 and walked with 2 people attending on there own. The staff make everyone so welcome that if you unsure of going along on your own, don't worry people get chatting from the off.

We visited on a weekday so it was quieter. Went into the gift shop which I’d never been in before and encountered the lovely Tina. What a joyful lady, willing to chat about the old times on the pleasure Beach and very helpful when purchasing stock. Tina you’re amazing and it was lovely chatting to you. Every time is use my new cup, I’ll think about you.

All the people were so friendly and kind that worked there, my children absolutely loved it, but one person stood out for me is Louise on nickoldean land she was operating the fairly odd parents ride, and my mum fell over just in front of the ride and hook a duck, she fell over on the fake grass but that is a bit rised and she did hurt herself, but Louise comforted her as my husband was with our daughter and I was on a ride with my son's so she sat with her and git the security and first aid to check on her and both men was lovely to her too, but Louise was so kind to be there with her and made sure she was ok so my son's don't have to worry about their grandma and to make sure she was properly looked after so thank you Louise you're a massive star to the resort xx

Great day out. Plenty of rides and short queues as we visited on a weekday, only downside was the weather but obviously that’s not the park’s fault! We did find there was a lack of toilets around the park.

Not great to be honest .. not very clear and what rides children can go on with adults … found it rather annoying that you had to keep getting your phone out all the time to scan on rides would be much easier with wrist bands or nothing seeing as though we scanned to enter the park … paid full price ticket for my 2 year old and he hardly went on anything don’t waste you money it’s mainly for older kids and adults

Blackpool, not changed much for years, the old ones are classics, always looks like it needs a lick of paint. That silly spinning thing on the back of icon is always empty and slows down the queue.
The big one was closed due to wind, its still the best ride, so gutted about that because thats the one we wanted to go on most. Iv not been for 10 years. Valhalla seems to have changed for the worse and still gets you wetter than an otters pocket.
It feels like some of the classics need to make way now for some new stuff,. Blue flyer, Revolution, Steeplechase and even the big dipper, . Playstation gone, or not working, river caves closed which was sad and the ghost train gone.
Its still good but It is what it is and you know what you get. I cant give it bad rating because of the memories as a kid attatched, however, if the big one isnt open, in its current state, i wouldn't rush back :(

Great day out. Teacher training day, so took the two kids ... Obviously not a training day nationally, so Friday was quiet. Not a queue at any ride throughout our day, straight onto every ride. Total rides 20 and we leisurely strolled it and popped out of the park for a bag of chips and an ice cream on the front.... Reason for 4 stars, as mentioned, we came out of the park, as prices are far too expensive for food and drinks. £10 for a burger and chips, no drink....
Ride experience brilliant apart from infusion, it needs retracking, it is brutal, rough for a leg dangling coaster, be prepared for a bit whiplash. Got on every ride. Don't agree with the uplift pricing for weekends either, glad we went Friday when it was alot cheaper

The entry system is purely stupid! You have to download the tickets to your phone then upload a photo - why?? No other leisure park requires this? We didn’t bother and queued to get a ticket printed. You then have to scan your ticket at every ride - again why? When we asked staff they said it was the owners requirement and they too agreed it was pointless and time wasting. If you downloaded the e-ticket, and the group split up, which is inevitable if visiting with a range of family members, they all have to download the ticket. Again, the bigger parks like Alton Towers and Thorpe Park don’t even require this level.

Coffee was VERY expensive and like muddy water. Very few healthy eating options, all burgers, hot dogs and fries. Queues for Burger King at lunchtime were huge.

Great kids area but it shut at 5, an hour earlier than the rest of the park.

We had an enjoyable day at the Pleasure Beach. My daughters aged 12 and 14 enjoyed the thrill rides, with Icon being the outstanding favourite.

Queues were relatively short. The longest being about 20minutes for the big one.

The downside is the cost and the way the rides are accessed. It is many years since we visited and there used to be a ticket for those who were just non riders but this no longer exists. The pricing structure is more aligned with theme parks which operate on the same principle. However, at places like Flamingoland there are more options for non-riders such as the zoo animals and frequent shows. There was really nothing for an older person to do. Also at theme parks the parking is free! Even booking in advance it cost £140 for 4 and £16 to park.

My biggest bug bear was having to scan the app at every ride. Why? You can’t get into the park unless you pay and the rides are all included so what is the point? I can see it would provide useful data for the park owner's to track popularity of rides, timings etc but unless you have a fast pass it is pointless for the customer. I found it a huge pain especially when we wanted to split the group so had to install the app on several phones. And why the photos?

So for this reason we probably won’t return, which is a shame. Maybe decide if you want to operate a theme park model or a pay per ride model and make the user experience better.

We decided to visit Blackpool pleasure beach spontaneously and booked the tickets for the day after online, we are a family of four with two small children ages 4&5, both children have additional needs one being dietary needs and one with ASD. We have visited theme parks around the world including Disney world California and universal studios Hollywood which may I add are amazing in supporting any visitors that may have additional needs. Upon arrival to Blackpool pleasure beach we was greeted with our bags checked, to my surprise the women informed us that we could not bring in the food I had prepared for my 4 year old with special dietary needs. Unfortunately she informed us if he wants to eat his food he has to leave the park and then come back in, which made us feel a little sad as we had spent almost £200 on tickets to enjoy the whole day at the theme park, most rides closing at 4:00pm on this particular day. We had to turn around and take his packed lunch back to the car which then took 30 minutes from our day, then we arrived back and I asked where guest services was so I could see if there was any special accommodations/accessibility available for my daughter with ASD. I was handed a piece of paper and sent on my way, said paper was no help at all as basically everything needs to be done online prior to visit which was extremely unhelpful at the time. This took another 30 mins so we was already one hour down of time we should have been spending enjoying our day, once we finally got into the theme park there was limited disabled toilets if any I could not find them as I was never given any advice from guest services who seemed to just hurry me on my way. The theme park it self was nice and there was lots of fun rides for myself and the children to enjoy, people was smoking cigarettes around the park near the children as there did not seem to be designated smoking areas, this is sad and makes the theme park come across slightly tacky in my opinion. Lunch time my 4 year old was hungry from lots of fun on the rides so we had to head all the way back to the front gates to exit the park so we could feed him is lunch, we felt isolated and disheartened having to sit outside the park near the busy road with our two infants, this took another 40 minutes out of our day having to head outside to find a suitable place to sit with the children so they could have lunch. Having spend so much money and being treated the way we was I do not think I would recommend Blackpool pleasure beach in the future and doubt I will be returning having visited every year previously but this time with my two infants in tow things was difficult which makes me come to the realisation that Blackpool pleasure beach has poor accommodations for children with disabilities and additional needs.

Worst place ever its very dirty and defo needs updated and cleaned , staff need to learn there customer service skills they weren’t rude they where just very straight faced can honestly say not one staff member smiled and spoke in the dull tone , defo no atmospheric, it’s the worst theme park and experience I h ave ever been to 50 for a non rider is a piss take, I am also a carer and still had to pay the 50 to get in even tho I wasn’t going on anything , all other places let carers in for free as they are with the person who is unable to attend these kind of things with out assistance, black pool defo need to get there finger out and catch up with the rest of the uk everything old and dirty, the person who owns this park
Must be rubbing there hands together I think with all the cash they charge they could update the place, even the ghost train was from nineteen canteen , I don’t mind paying when it’s good day out etc but it’s the worst place I’ve been to well Blackpool I can honestly say I defo won’t be back and it’s been an experience haha
