Paperback S While the first movie was a brutal and emotional crunch, this one slowly drowned me into boredom Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/07/23 Full Review Emilliano S Slight improvement from the first one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/12/22 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst movies I have ever seen, I honestly wished the crocodile had eaten them all and swam off into the sunset. My family and I were rooting for the crocodile. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't put yourself or your family through this. Be better to each other. Mark Kermode Kermode & Mayo's Film Review Pretty flimsy... Aug 18, 2020 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com Black Water: Abyss is one of those movies that isn't particularly good but may not have to be if you're in the right mood. Rated: 2/4 Aug 7, 2020 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety A tense thriller that nicely exploits a formulaic nature it doesn't quite transcend. Aug 5, 2020 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com …a sorry excuse for a thriller with a lot of black water and not much croc to go around… Rated: 1/5 Nov 30, 2023 Full Review Paul Lê Nightmare on Film Street Black Water: Abyss performs the work with above-average competence, but it struggles to stay afloat. Rated: 8/10 Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Dallas King Flick Feast One should never smile at a crocodile and Black Water Abyss certainly doesn’t raise a smile but there is also a disappointing lack of screams in this lake flaccid thriller that ultimately lacks bite.
