Main Aviary Interactive Tour

This is a great photo opportunity as guests will be getting up close to some of the animals!

Main Aviary Interactive Tour Schedule:

11:30AM Daily
Meeting area is in front of North American Striped Skunk exhibit and Egyptian Fruit Bat exhibit.

*Please note that this experience is “by choice” for the animals and not expected of them. Animal Care staff is pleased to answer any questions during the daily Main Aviary Interactive Tour.

LORIKEET LANDING ($)

Feed and interact with the playful birds at Lorikeet Landing in the Main Aviary. This unforgettable experience allows the lorikeet birds to land on you as you feed them nectar.

DAILY FEEDING SCHEDULE:

10:00AM-11:00AM
11:30AM-12:30PM
1:00PM-2:00PM
2:30PM-3:30PM
4:00PM-5:30PM

*Please note the Lorikeets participate by choice, so your feeding experience may vary.

Each Lorikeet Feeding time will have limited slots available, which will be available for purchase at the Gift Shop when you arrive ($5.00 per cup of nectar).

Guests can take their own photos and videos of their experience.

Bird Kingdom Annual Members will be able to get limited FREE Lorikeet Feeding slots any time of year (based on availability).

PARROT ENCOUNTERS ($)

Hold a parrot on your arm and learn about parrot conservation from our animal care staff.

DAILY ENCOUNTER SCHEDULE (weekends/holidays):

10:30AM to 11:30AM

12:00PM to 1:00PM

1:30PM to 2:30PM

DAILY ENCOUNTER SCHEDULE (non-holiday weekdays):

9:30AM to 4:15PM

*Please note the parrots participate by choice, so the type of parrot is not guaranteed.

Each Parrot Encounters time has limited tickets available, which will be available for purchase at the Gift Shop when you arrive ($10.00 per participant). One ticket allows one person to hold a parrot. Other members of your group may observe, take pictures, and even pose alongside paid participants. Tickets are non-refundable. For ages 5 and older only.
