Based on J.M. Barrie's classic tale and featuring an unforgettable score by Morris "Moose" Charlap and Jule Styne with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh and Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Peter Pan is one of the most beloved and frequently performed family favorites of all time. This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has been performed around the world and delighted audiences for 60 years.
Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook.
Featuring the iconic songs, "I'm Flying," "I've Gotta Crow," "I Won't Grow Up" and "Never Never Land," and a rousing book full of magic, warmth and adventure, Peter Pan is the perfect show for the child in all of us... who dreamed of soaring high and never growing up.

Dean has been with Christian Performance Theatre (CPT) since its first year as CYT. All 3 of his girls, as well as his wife Audra, were involved with CYT. Dean started by working in tech for CYT, moved quickly into teaching drama, and things accelerated from there. Directing for Sunrise Christian Academy, judging performances through Music Theatre of Wichita's Jester Program, and being mentored by CYT Wichita founder Linda McGinness developed his love and appreciation for working with youth in theatre. His heart is to "see students grow in their boldness so that at any 'stage' in their life, they will have the ability to stand up for their beliefs and convictions and glorify God in the process." Now that his girls have graduated from performing with CPT, he currently serves as CPT's Artistic Director. He loves the engaging tale of Peter Pan and is looking forward to bringing it to life on stage with CPT.
Asher Isaac began his theatre experience late in high school, playing an Irishman in a short One Act. Shortly after, he joined choir for the very first time, not even two months before graduation - but not to sing! Being in choir was a requirement to participate in the end-of-year variety show - which Asher was determined to MC with his friends. He was surprised to find that he loved singing, and these two experiences eventually led down a path to becoming a dialect and accent coach, singer, actor, pit musician, and eventually, a music director. Asher has participated in multiple professional choral organizations, including the Wichita Chamber Chorale, Singing Quakers, Dreamliners, and a new chamber ensemble in the Wichita area; Philoxenia. A natural teacher, Asher has taught private music lessons for over 7 years, provided accent coaching for multiple productions in Wichita and the surrounding areas, and even started an improvisational comedy group in high school! Asher has a B.A. in Music from Friends University and enjoys drinking tea, and spending time with his wife Marial and his family and friends. He finds great joy in leading students of all ages to their highest potential as instruments of God's glory and beauty.
Nicole feels blessed to be a part of the CPT family and is thrilled to be working on this production with an amazing team of directors! She has trained in various dance styles including jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop. Outside of the dance studio, she had many performance opportunities that include several community and school musicals as well as cheer and tumbling. Nicole's love for teaching began at the age of fourteen while assisting her first dance class. She enjoys working with students of all ages and celebrates growth whether it be big or small. She enjoys the creative process of being a choreographer, and her partiality to jazz and contemporary dance enriches her unique approach to storytelling. Nicole is thrilled to share her love of dance with CPT and work with her students to develop their technique, build their confidence, and encourage their artistic expression. Outside of dancing, Nicole enjoys photography, rollerblading, hiking trails, and exploring national parks with her husband Marc and their three kids, Faith, Micah, and Rylee.
