Last week I was consulting about which gang to assemble (preferably humans) and how to do it. I ended up choosing Reikland because I like the color scheme. I printed the minis and went to play.
(Just today I painted my first four).
I went with the captain, two champions, two youngbloods, two swordsmen, and three marksmen.
In my first game, I got 2 warpstone against the witch hunters gang. I was in a good position but after losing three minis (me), I rolled the dice to see if my gang would flee and unfortunately they did, but with a good loot (and then my three fallen units survived!!!).
The second game I played against a gang of negros orcs who had lost many units. His gang had 1 warpstone and mine had 3. He stayed in his base and I decided not to risk it, so I withdrew my troops and won about 3 juicy warpstones.
Anyway, it was a very fun first day among friends.
