BERYL CHRISTIE OBITUARY

CHRISTIE, BERYL M., 79, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011, in Sebring. She was born September 3, 1931, to Frank and Alvira Louise (Jackson) Isaacs in Hanover, Jamaica, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1993, coming from Miami, Fl. She was an Asst. Vice President/Bank Manager in the banking industry and was a past member of the Kendall Chamber of Commerce and the Miami Business Development Group. She enjoyed cooking and gardening; was a member of Spring Lake Baptist Church and in her later years was the church clerk, assistant treasurer and sang in the choir. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart; also her friends and all people and would help anyone she could. She is survived by her daughter, Grace Jill Christie; grandchildren, Andrew Tudor, Christine Tudor and Philip Tudor, all of Sebring; brother, Noel Baboo Isaacs, New York, and sister, Norma Kay Nicholson, England. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bevan Spurgent Christie on March 21, 2010 and her son, Mark Christie in 1984. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Spring Lake Baptist Church, Sebring, with Pastor Richard Schermerhorn officiating and interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Miami, at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Life Outreach International, P.O.
