This is a live improv recording from 1984 featuring trumpet, bass, drums, saxophone, trombone, tarogato, mouthpieces, and six clarinets – one of which is manned by John Zorn (!) The record is divided into two parts, but that decision seems arbitrary – there appear to be more songs than that, if audience applause are anything to judge by.
Essentially, the tunes alternate cacophonous noise and stretches of minimalism. It’s sometimes jarring, and the recording quality isn’t very good (the drums are hard to decipher), but it’s fun.

Sounds like a corny concept, huh? Actually, it's damn good - edgy and at times furious. There's lots of clarinets, sure; but look at the talent: Zorn, Bauer, Kondo, Oxley, Parker, Petrowsky, etc. Not to mention maestro Brotz.
This is not music for wimps.
