Was a member of Canada’s U19 team that took the bronze medal at the 2021 FIBA U19 World Cup in Latvia … in the seven games Canada played, he averaged 28 minutes, 16.1 points (ranked seventh for the tournament) and 4.0 rebounds per game … shot 48.8 percent from the floor for the tournament, the ninth-best percentage of any player in the tournament … one of two players in the tournament to have two games of 30-plus points (Jun Seok Yeo, Korea) … opened the tournament by scoring four points against Lithuania and Arizona teammate Azuolas Tubelis … in game two, he dropped 30 points against Japan – including a 6 of 9 effort from the 3-point line … had 13 points and six rebounds in a win over Senegal in group play … tallied 13 points in a round of 16 win over Puerto Rico … finished with three points and three rebounds in a quarterfinal win over Spain … went for 19 points and five rebounds in a loss to the United States in the semifinals … in the third place game, he went off for 31 points including 11 of 11 inside the arc and 9 of 10 at the free throw line.
