He developed an interest in various artistic disciplines such as drawing, singing, dancing, and acting.
During his college years, he studied Art History & Theater/Acting where he had the opportunity to perform as Katurian from Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman and direct Patrick Marber's Closer.
He wrote his first short film Viajar Quieto (Traveling Still) in 2008; a story about a surgeon amid a divorce & his epiphany upon meeting a young woman. In 2011 he wrote Una Caja Hermética (Airtight Box), a play about three individuals with dubious intentions who meet at a hotel for a night of uncertainty. It premiered as part of the Festival Puertorriqueño del Instituto de Cultura in April of 2012, produced by local company Tantai Teatro.
His first feature, Más que el Agua (Thicker Than Water), follows longtime best friends who find their companionship & upbringing jeopardizing their happiness. He also directed, acted & produced it. The first version of the film premiered at the Puerto Rico Queer Film Fest in November 2014.
He directed Tony Kushner's Angels in America: Millennium Approaches at the Victoria Espinosa Theater in Santurce, PR in August of 2017 as the first production of the local emerging company Teatro Público.
He's based in New York where he continues to develop his career as an artist in film and theater.
