Two decades later, Jennifer Lopez is still singing about Ben Affleck.
The Grammy nominee revealed on Friday — the 20th anniversary of her album “This Is Me … Then” — that she has new music on the way inspired by her husband.
Lopez, 53, shared the tracklist for her 2023 album “This Is Me … Now” via Instagram, which includes “Dear Ben pt. ll.”
Fans immediately freaked out over the song title, which references the “Dear Ben” ballad that J.Lo released in 2002 — the first time she dated Affleck.
“DEAR BEN PART 2 I’M ON THE FLOOR!! YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT,” one follower commented.
“Dear Ben part 2 OMGGG I’m gonna cryyyyy,” another added, and a third wrote, “NOT DEAR BEN PT 2 🥺🥺🥺.”
Lopez was engaged to Affleck when she released “This Is Me … Then.” She dedicated the album to the actor, now 50, before they called it quits in 2004.
“Dear Ben” included touching lyrics about Affleck, including, “I love you / You’re perfect / A manifestation of my dreams.”
After failed marriages to other people, the exes reconnected in 2021. They married in Las Vegas in July of the following year — which may have inspired the newly announced “This Is Me … Now” song “Midnight Trip to Vegas.”
Lopez gushed about the Oscar winner while speaking to Vogue earlier this month.
“I always felt like there was a real love there, a true love there,” she said. “When we reconnected, those feelings for me were still very real.”
The “Marry Me” star also spoke to the magazine about the music she was working on.
“This album is the most honest thing I have done, a culmination of who I am as a person and an artist,” she teased. “People think they know things about what happened to me along the way — but they really have no idea, and a lot of times they get it so wrong.
“There’s a part of me that was hiding a side of myself from everyone,” she continued.
Ahead of Friday’s announcement, Lopez wiped her social media accounts and changed her profile pictures to a black circle, leading many to believe she was hinting at an update on the new project.
