My experience with Bellaire High School was pretty good, you can get involved since there are so many different clubs anyone can find a spark. Some of my best experiences were the courses taught such as Forensic Science, Arts, Japanese language classes, and dual credit classes, I got to take the classes I enjoyed. Some worst experiences were the school still being unfinished, not having a track during my freshmen year for track practice, nor a library my senior year to study in. What I would like to see change is them getting more involved in helping kids find financial aid and getting more involved with sports and fun participation for the whole school to enjoy.
Bellaire is an, overall, very diverse and inclusive school. The administration is very picky when it comes to the dress code, and clearly targets a certain demographic/group of people. The sports are pretty cool, even though I have never played a sport here, I hear good things. The arts and art programs here are awesome and the administration is a big supporter of this aspect of the school. As an art student and a theater technician, I definitely feel the love and help received by them, and it helps with the fact that we rely on each other to form a sort of community.
Being a new student and attending Bellaire was scary. However, the students and teachers of Bellaire were beyond welcoming. Their welcoming attitude allowed me to feel comfortable attending Bellaire and pushed me to get plugged into the 100+ clubs we have here at Bellaire. Coming up at the end of my senior year, I'm beyond blessed and grateful that I was able to attend Bellaire High School. With pride, I can forever represent my red and white and display my cardinal pride wherever I go after graduating from Bellaire.
