Noel Murray AV Club Even from the start, Being Human comes across as one of the most genuinely horrific monster shows ever made, with a good mix of creepy effects and subtle suggestiveness. Rated: B+ Nov 26, 2018 Full Review Mary McNamara Los Angeles Times Being Human manages to avoid both the slipperiness of soap opera and the overwrought self-importance of Goth, finding instead a happy normalcy that makes its supernatural elements both more believable and more shocking. Nov 26, 2018 Full Review Glenn Garvin Miami Herald Darkly funny, deeply affecting and utterly cockeyed, a work that celebrates life by dwelling on death. Jan 25, 2009 Full Review Chris Carabott IGN Movies Watching these characters struggle and fight to maintain some semblance of humanity in their lives is what drives this fascinating story. Rated: 8.6/10 Nov 26, 2018 Full Review Mark Oakley Den of Geek It's [Aidan] Turner who really shines in this first episode with a screen presence any show would kill for. Little wonder he's been handed the most interesting role. Nov 26, 2018 Full Review Will Wade Common Sense Media The characters in this unusual and entertaining series have a very special friendship, based on the shared knowledge that none will ever be fully human. Audience Member Series 1 was excellent. Really intriguing, funny and a very interesting take on this genre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review indie a This whole series, every season, is first rate. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Frances H As a fan of the Scify series modeled after this one and a big fan of Aiden Turner from Polar, I wanted to give this series a try--and was not disappointed! Although the CGI for the werwolf was not very sophisticated, the acting and plotting was great, and I found out that Scify Channel's series was very close to the original stories. Very enjoyable! And much funnier! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/10/17 Full Review Audience Member Primeira temporada "legalzinha", mas ainda não sei se continuo com a segunda.
