Dan R One of the oddest additions to DC's animated universe is 'Batman Vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'. SYNOPSIS: 'Batman, Batgirl and Robin forge an alliance with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to fight against the Turtles' sworn enemy, The Shredder, who has teamed up with Ra's Al Ghul and The League Of Assassins.' This probably could've been something really interesting but it ended up just being a real mess. It's certainly a film which didn't need to be anywhere near it's 90min run time. There's a real weird mix of animation styles going on here, and I appreciate it's to do with the crossover of the IPs, but the Turtles have never looked this bad before. They're terrible! Almost unrecognisable. However, this is a nonstop animated action film which is full of humour. It just fails to meet the heights of what DC has delivered in recent years. 5/10 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Michael M A perfect blend of two similar but vastly different worlds. The standout performance here is Kyle Mooney as Michelangelo! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review matthias s "Batman vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is a fun and visually impressive crossover that fans of both franchises will enjoy. The animation is top-notch and the voice acting is solid, bringing the iconic characters to life. The story is well-written, with the turtles' comedic antics balancing out the darker tones of Batman's world. The action scenes are well-choreographed and exciting. However, the film does lack a bit of depth in its villain. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/09/23 Full Review AARON M YES this is what we need BATMAN VS NINJA TURTLES i love it Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/11/23 Full Review Ramazan Samet T Diğer Batman animasyonlarına kıyasla vasat olmuş. Hikaye leş, espiriler leş, diyaloglar kötü. 5.5/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/28/23 Full Review Michele I This movie blew my mind when it came out. So surprised by that we were getting a Batman/TMNT crossover. Wishing it was going to the theaters, but happy to just own it. I remember May 14th, 2019 around 1am my preorder for the movie came in. I was getting ready for bed, but saw the email saying my download was ready. I could not go to sleep I had to watch the movie, my sister sat down to join me. My mother who was already in bed, heard what was going on and got up to watch the movie with us. We all sat around as the movie played. The Turtles travel to Gotham, following the Foot to stop the Shredder from what ever he was up too. The Shredder has a new partner and is working to get himself immortality, not something Shredder always went after but if offered he wouldn't turn it down. So it felt like a great plot for him. Bringing with him an army of Foot warriors and Baxter Stockman, who is already a fly in this version. The Turtles end up meeting the Bat family as they team up to stop their enemies. In an adventure packed with quotes from pervious movies, easter egg for both Batman and TMNT fans, fun character interactions and a cliffhanger at the end. What I don't like... 1. Batman getting injured in a fight with Shredder, going out and beating all four Turtles in a fight right after being injured, but then losing in a sparring match against Leo alone later in the movie and blaming his injury from the Shredder. 2. Character designs for the Turtles. I really have a problem with Donatello and Raphael, they look weird to me and threw me off at first when the movie started. I got over it, much like getting over the costumes in the 3rd TMNT movie. It's not as bad as the 2014/2016 designs. But still wasn't something I fell in love with when I saw them. Not really much I don't like in that movie. What I like. 1. Strong plot 2. Great character growth and interaction through the entire movie. Including Raph's speech to Shredder which was handled well - loved the side comments from his brothers. 3. The nods to the other versions of TMNT and Batman, some so small that only die hard fans of those other areas would catch it. The one that got me to burst out laughing and cheering in the movie is one other TMNT fans did not really catch. But when Alfred offered Mike & Raph napkins, I said "What for?" before they got to say it in the movie... when they said it I screamed "FAN SERVICE" pointing at the screen and laughed. My mom and sister were confused and asked me about it at the end of the movie... it's a nod to "Secret of the Ooze" where April offers them napkins and they say "What for?" they just needed to add the action to really finish that nod, where Raph wipes his face with his arm and Mikey tries to use the end of his bandana hanging over his shoulder. 4. The action scenes. Each fight was so well done, the best being Batman's first fight with the Shredder. Really well worked out and I like that neither of them seem to really be too over powering, both had their hits in and had me on the edge of my seat. One of the best fights I've ever seen animated with the Shredder. 5. Appearances of most of my favorite characters from Gotham, I just wish Riddler was added. Would've loved to seen that play out. But they got so many others squeezed in, I understand there's too many to get everyone. This movie should have a sequel as it's based off of the IDW TMNT comic series. With a few changes making it their own. One of my favorite changes is that it's the same world the Turtles live in, while in the comics they traveled into a different realm and had to get home. I like that Gotham was just a road trip in this version. I am a huge TMNT fan, it's really what I'm known for. Though I was a Batman fan before I got into TMNT. I watched the live action series as a kid, I saw the Tim Burton Movie a million times when it came out, and totally love the Batman Animated series. I don't read Batman Comics or really collect the toys. But I have always loved and respected the characters. To see Batman cross over with my all time favorite heroes, the Ninja Turtles was a dream come true. First in the comics and then in this movie... which even got it's own toy line (so thrilled that I managed to get the entire set). I was scared that it could've been messed up so easy, but they didn't mess up... and I highly recommend this for all TMNT and Batman fans. Thanks IDW, DC, Warner Brothers and Nickelodeon for making this movie happen. Please give us the next one! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/01/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Joe Lipsett Horror Queers Podcast A mix of animation styles complements the cross-over between Batman's Gotham and TMNT's NY.
