Is bait and switch required on apex predator?

Discussion

I’ve been running enhanced reconstruction and bipod. I’m using this rocket for almost all kind of content. Should I switch it to bait and switch instead of bipod is good as well?

I crafted 2 Apex predators, one for general use, and the other with Recon/Bait and Switch for Onslaught/Dungeon/Raid boss damage.

I find bait and switch to be a pain in the ass lol. I generally prefer bipod, but bait and switch is really nice when i get to be the witherhoard user

I should probably craft two honestly

I also use Recon Bipod and it's just way easier to use than B&S. I love just dumping all my ammo then switching to a fusion or something. Frankly I'd say B&S is only useful for really sweaty endgame stuff. Even in a Raid as long as the other 5 people are all doing good damage I don't think you'll be faulted for running Bipod. If you're really worried though you can always just craft a second Apex Predator with Recon B&S.

I love this roll so much. 4 in the mag makes it feel like a quasi-exotic 4th Horseman rocket launcher or something lol, and thanks to reload animation timing, you get 3 each reload attempt. Also tons of ammo, so it's easier to afford a random delete on a tough mob here and there with substantially less overkill/wasted ammo IMO.

I use recon/bipod too and I like how I dont have to think about it, I can just dump my ammo all at once and then switch to my fusion

I got a Crux Termination with Recon + Bipod that I absolutely love. I use it for everything outside of raid DPS then use my crafted Apex for raids and dungeons.

I use recon bipod, I don't really like it on rockets.

For shorter damage phases or solo content bipod is the way to go honestly

Good to know thank you so much!

Bipod is perfectly fine, better in general gameplay and only slightly worse for boss dps as long as you are doing a rotation with another weapon.

I like having a tracking + explosive light apex for general use. Great for master lost sectors, can just obliterate two at once overload champs if their close to each other.

I crafted five, and i only use bipod for ad clear in master+ content

Recon BNS

Recon Surrounded

Recon Bipod

Incand Bipod

Tracking BNS

Certain perks.will perform better than others in some situations but no perk is required on any weapon.

Use what you’re comfortable with. Did you ask this question because some elite idiot told you that bait and switch is required or you cannot play on their fireteam? It is a nice perk and helps with DPS but do not think you will just melt the enemies in a matter of seconds.

FYI. I have played with people that have bait and switch but do not know how to proc it.

An adaptive/aggressive frame rocket launcher with vorpal weapon or cluster bombs is decent.

Are you like, still playing Forsaken?

Think of it as 110% damage versus the 130% damage of bait and switch.

At this point, just take bipod
