Never again! If you want to have a business class experience never fly Virgin Upper Class. Not only is it shambolic but even if they had not over booked the flight, offered me a seat that needed manually cranking in to a bed for an overnight flight and then failed to make their own seat “crank” in to a bed, the service is so far below that offered by business class for BA and others that it is to be avoided at all costs. I frequently fly long haul for work and found every thing about the experience from the lounge (minimal and just low rent), to the on board food (again, just low quality, minimal choice and poorly executed) to the service (cannot work the chairs, overbooked the flight and nothing worked: mechanics, wifi, in-seat charging. It is, at best premium economy at business prices. Not worth it and all round extremely disappointing!…
