- Joshua A29 contributionsCool Way to Experience Bangkok FoodLove love love this place so much! So much variety for foods, drinks, and snacks throughout the two portion complex. Easy to access through the Metro at Rama 9 or Grab Bikes. Prices are quite good for a high-quality night out. So many great options so make sure to go with friends and try a little bit of everything. It gets crowded on weekends and it can be hard to find dedicated space to sit for street food with larger groups. But for 2-3 it's easy to join others at tables. Loved the satays, pad thai, squid eggs, and so much more. Definitely worth going to for an evening to check out the scene, listen to some music, and drink some beers while exploring.Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten May 1, 2023

Some stalls selling clothes and accessories. Coconut ice cream was almost tasteless. Good for one visit. - DNT. VCambodia3 contributionsVery easy to travel to and Many varieties of stuffs to buy.One of the famous night market in bangkok. Was pretty crowded when I went there. Very accessible with public transportation especially if you're riding MRT. Many varieties of foods and clothes to shop. Overall a very nice experience except the walkway feels a bit crowded.Visited June 2023Traveled with friendsWritten June 24, 2023
- fire-tower1,935 contributionsWorth a visitWe visited Jodd Fairs twice during our visit to Bangkok, once on a Tuesday night and once on a Saturday night. The crowd were very different of course. There were 2 different sections of this night market, and there were many eateries and stalls that sells clothing, souvenirs, etc. We tried various snacks, beef noodles and the famed leng saap when we visited. There was even a live band and the atmosphere was quite fun. Worth a visit.Visited June 2023Traveled with familyWritten June 26, 2023
- mic_leowSingapore, Singapore380 contributionsWhich jobb fair to visit? There’s a new jodd Fair at Dannermit. This night market highlight i guess would be the instagramtable castle that is situated at the entrance itself. However, this is further off and all the stores sell basically the same thing as the old jodd fair market at Rama 9. If you have limited time, I would suggest visting the old jodd fair market instead. Nearer and it also has a mall next to it.Visited June 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 6, 2023
- Kaeden T3 contributionsMediocre, touristy night market. Prices not as cheap as Chatuchak in comparisonFirst bkk visit after the pandemic. Very touristy, with tourists from an infamous country known to be rowdy and loud. Many of the shop owners speak basic english. Competitive food stall staffs speaking chinese to get ppl to patronise them. Split into 2 section, with mix of food and shopping mostly. Not much special from any other usual night market shops. A handful of thrifting vintage shops but underwhelming.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 10, 2023
- Adrian WJohannesburg, South Africa103 contributionsLittle GemWhat a gem of a find. We saw this from the train and jumped off at the next station and so pleased we did. Not so busy so we weren’t crowded out with people. Great food and stalls. Eclectic mix of everything and even a cartoon style palace. Well worth a visit.Visited July 2023Written July 11, 2023
- Daniel GFarnworth, United Kingdom49 contributionsFood Lover’s ParadiseFoodie Heaven. This market is easy to reach via the MRT and very well laid out. Very busy by 9pm and an absolute must if you like food. Mango smoothies for us then a rack of ribs - but we paused at the size of the stacks of ribs. Cheeky hair cut then cocktails. Lots of craft and T-Shirt stalls and all immaculately clean.Visited August 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 29, 2023
- Meeko PBay Village, Ohio1,412 contributionsLively, energetic place to spend the evening, with good food choices.Great place to go in the evening in Bangkok. Lots of choices for dinning or snacking. Also many clothing and clothing accessory shops to browse. Very lively and energetic place, but can get very crowded and difficult to maneuver through the crowded walk ways. Prices are very reasonable throughout.Visited September 2023Traveled soloWritten September 27, 2023

Refreshed concept, looking hip and clean and easily accessible. Take the MRT to Phra Ram 9 Station, exit 2, cut through the Central Plaza mall and the Night Market is just there.
Sufficient seating area, generally clean. Half of the area sells food while the other side are all stalls selling apparels, accessories etc.
The Tik-tok famous cartoon pancake stall can be found here.

We visited a few markets in Bangkok but this was by far our fave! Food was amazing, we had pizza and pad thai. The bars have bottled cider which was rare in Thailand. The stalls were all reasonably priced with some good quality items!
Only negatives were you had to pay for the toilet and there was one questionable stall which appeared to have live animals for sale.

Great place to find a range of food and delicacies to eat out. Clean with an array of stalls throughout the market area. Please note being a popular tourist spot - prices are dearer than other areas... A majority of the market inside is food based with stalls on the outside selling souvenirs/clothing items

Located near to Phra Ram 9 Station MRT less than 1 km walking distance.
There are many shops and places to eat that occupy this location. Especially for places to eat, there are many variations of food, from snacks to heavy meals. Lots of Thai food like padthai, salted fish with skin, beef and others. For two meals, you will probably spend around 500-600 baht. Satisfied!

A very popular night bazaar especially with tourists. They have many eateries but major restaurants serving famous Volcano Spare Ribs. But smaller eateries offers many local delicacies.
Shopping wise in kind of limited, nothing much in offers.
The place can get very crowded as night falls.

This is one of the newest night markets post COVID and it is beautiful. A very young and hipster take on night market, with plenty of places to eat, chill, sit, unwind with live music and more.
Toilet is hard to find because it is only at the entrance of the place. Very big night market but food items are very repetitive. Though they are interesting (we had ice cream with sweet fish sauce with shrimp!!!) they do not taste very good. The food and drinks can be pretty expensive. We tried a handful of the "TikTok famous" stalls but they are also rather mid.
Will be back for the vibes and checklist for Bangkok.

We went on a Monday evening taking a taxi from about 30 minutes away. It was so so crowded that it was almost impossible to shop and eat. It felt like being in a mosh pit at a concert and not being able to move. There is an oversupply of food stalls and not enough selling items which would maybe help with the crowding. The front area with lots of seating is nice if you want to escape the crazy crowds in the stall area but only if you can snag some seats. Not sure it was worth the cab fair we paid to get there and back!

Accessible via Rama 9 BTS and via Rama 9 shopping mall (followed the direction signs)
The fair grounds was smaller in comparison to the previous night markets, however, still worth a visit.
We went early at 5 pm to avoid the dinner crowd and had a delish dinner with salted grilled fish, chicken-milky soup and river prawns.
Fairly easy to walk and to cover all grounds within an hour.
