If you’re known as the best live bands in modern rock a simple live stream concert may not be enough. A 4 part live stream concert series concentrating on different points of your career though? Avatar will be doing just that. Over the course of 4 weeks in January you’ll be able to see Avatar live and three of those shows you get to pick the set list. It’s broken down like this:
- Age of Dreams on January 9th will see them playing their new album Hunter Gatherer in it’s entirety.
- Age of Illusions on January 16th will feature songs from the albums Feathers and Flesh and Avatar Country as voted on by you.
- Age of Madness on January 23rd will feature songs from the albums Black Watlz and Hail the Apocalypse again as voted on by you.
- Age of Memories on January 30th will feature songs from their first three albums Avatar, Schlacht, and Thoughts of No Tomorrow and yes also featuring songs voted on by you.
In a press release singer Johannes Eckerstorm says:
“Nothing can top the feeling of standing eye to eye with the roaring beast that is a metal crowd, hungry for blood. Instead, what we are setting out to do is a series of shows we could never do on a normal stage. You will see AVATAR as you’ve never seen us before. More music, more madness. We enter this with a game plan like no other, but ultimately the power is yours. This is something we’ll create together. We have missed you.”
Tickets are available in various packages. You can get access to all 4 concerts, to individual shows, merch for the shows you choose and there are even a limited number of virtual meet and greets available. All details and tickets can be found at AvatarAges.com
But keep in mind that fan voting for the set lists is open only to those who’ve purchased tickets to that respective concert until Dec. 3rd.
