      The Tracklisting on the Sleeve is just a mess. The listing on the Labels seems to be correct, where the listing on the sleeve has nothing to do with the actual order of the tracks. Anyways, if you love the Temptations, you will love this 3LP Set.

        An extremely thorough collection of all the Temptations songs you want to hear. Three disc set.

        This band has two sides: the sweet pop love crooners, and the darker edgy protest band. They do both perfectly well, but I prefer the latter.
        "Ball of Confusion" is superb here.

        Clean recordings and good continuity through the compilation. Great sounding pressing. Very nice souvenir booklet with some great photos.
        4 stars. Recommended.

          I Love The Temptations, no question.One of the all-time greats.
          My review is about the packaging . Is it just me or is it impossible to do a 3-LP package that doesnt feel awkward?
          I mean the covers always tear because its too heavy, the shrink wraps are too tight etc. There seems to be always some issue with a triple album package. This design I did not see before. When you open the triple gatefold you have in your hand a huge piece of cardboard. Albums 1 & 3 are quite easy to take out and play, but the middle LP was not. To me the most amount of 12" vinyls in one packaging is two, a double album is fine, but I have an issue with triple LP´s, mostly with the sleeves, always getting torn and bent. There is no "standard" for triple albums and it seems there is a good reason why, it just doesnt work.
